Dr. Pamela Chin was raised in Richmond, B.C. and completed her undergraduate education at the University of British Columbia. She graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon with the class of 2003 and completed a one-year residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at Pacific the following year. Dr. Chin has enjoyed the opportunity to bring eye care to the underserved rural communities in Romania, Honduras and Cambodia. Dr. Chin has worked at a group private practice in south King County since August 2004 where she has fit specialty contact lenses and has treated and co-managed lasik surgery, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye care. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Chin lives in Seattle with her husband and in her spare time enjoys walking her dog, traveling and sewing bibs and clothes for her daughter.

The exam was made very warm, efficient and easy thanks to Dr. Chin's way with people. She answered all of my questions and many I didn't know to ask and made me feel like my vision is in good hands with her and the entire staff there. I'm very glad I decided to switch to her office.

Dr. Chin and all of her staff were EXCELLENT. They took plenty of time to explain everything very thoroughly including the science, equipment etc. They also gave plenty of individual attention helping choose frames, making recommendations, and going over the pricing and options in great detail. The office has a good atmosphere and you can tell that they are happy, friendly and comfortable, besides being extremely competent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
