Dr. Patti Satterfield is a Board Certified Dermatologist with more than 14 years of experience in medical and surgical dermatology.
A California native and co-founder of Folsom Dermatology, Dr. Satterfield earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. She remained at UC Davis for both her internship and her dermatology residency, where she was selected as Chief Resident in her third year. Dr. Satterfield also attended California State University, Long Beach, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Physiology.
Most recently, Dr. Satterfield practiced as a Senior Partner in Kaiser Permanente’s Department of Dermatology in Roseville, California.
Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible, she contributed to Kaiser Permanente’s formal Quality Assurance efforts for more than nine years, including four years as Quality Assurance Chairperson for the Department of Dermatology and five years as a member of the Quality Assurance Multidisciplinary Committee for Outpatient Medicine.

Dr Satterfield was very pleasant and very thorough in her exam.
The fact that she did the exam and procedures were a definite positive. Last visit to a dermatologist (in Mid town Sac) was done by a PA? and not the doctor that I made the appointment with (never even met the doctor).
