WE MUST CONFIRM YOUR INSURANCE PLAN BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT!** Dr. Beauvais, a Connecticut native, attended Fairfield College Preparatory School. He then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. His medical training continued in New York City where he earned his doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He remained at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for six years of specialized training in orthopaedic surgery consisting of one year post graduate research fellowship in orthopaedic biochemistry followed by a one year general surgery internship and a four year residency in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Beauvais is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Beauvais practice interests include knee and hip replacement, orthopaedic trauma and fractures, hand disorders, shoulder disorders, sports medicine,and foot and ankle disorders. He is on the medical staff at Waterbury Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital.

Double knee replacement. Took extra time too explain each step in procedure. Visited in hospital and in therapy often. Highly recommend.
