Dr. Sforza is an ophthalmologist in Long Island, NY, and performs a variety of eye care treatments and surgeries at North Shore Eye Care. He graduated with honors from Harvard College, then earned his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After a medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, he performed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He returned to New York for further subspecialty training in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at North Shore University Hospital, an NYU Medical School affiliate.
Dr. Sforza was the chief of Corneal Surgery at SUNY-Downstate Medical School from 1998-2000. He is still actively involved in academic medicine and continues to train doctors in the most advanced microsurgical techniques at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Downstate Medical School. He was named "Attending of the Year" in 2006 by the graduating Ophthalmology residents at Albert Einstein.

Simply amazing. The facility is well run, the assistants are diligent and I was just blown away by the Dr Paul's professionalism and knowledge. I asked a lot of questions and he took his time explaining the evolution of medical research around many topics (he is an ivy leaguer). He also spotted a few things to track that made sense given my family history. Very very pleased to have found him and would easily recommend.

This was my first time going to see Dr. Sforza. I have seen many doctors in my life and unfortunately a lot of them lack the basic qualities to be a good physician. Well, Dr Sforza doesnt lack any quality that makes a great physician. He was kind, understanding, knowledgeable and very patient. He had so many patients waiting for him but he never made me feel like he was rushing with me. All the staff there are also very friendly. I will definitely be going back to him.

This was my first time visiting his new office and he is still very close to my home. I was very happy to see his office manager was still with him in his new office. She was the reason I started going to him a few years ago. When a doctors office staff is friendly and takes the time to talk to you it says a lot about the doctor. As for Dr. Sforza he is wonderful. He talks to you and does not rush the appointment. He makes sure and listens to all our concerns and questions. I plan on moving to another state but will continue seeing him on my trips back to NY every year. It is very hard for me to trust any doctors, but Dr Sforza & his staff makes it very easy for me to overcome it. I highly recommend him.

Short wait and very nice staff. I arrived early and everything was electronic (no extra paperwork) - just had to e-sign for privacy laws, etc.
I was taken in for initial eval on time. From there, waited maybe 10 minutes to see the doctor. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He's a fast talker but so am I so no issues there!
