I liked the doctor a lot. What I didn't like was when I checked in they could find no trace of the extensive registration that I had done online. One comment from the receptionist was "oh, our online system hasn't been working for a while." Therefore, I had to sit down and manually fill out the paperwork again which was time consuming. I don't know if that contributed to my having to wait for almost an hour before being called back to the exam room, or if the doctor was just running behind. However, when I finally saw the doctor I was very pleased with his manner and he took care of the reason I was in there to be seen. Appointment was 8/29/19. Thank you.
My visit was great, but I filled in all the paperwork on this site and when I got to his office I had to fill it all in again, I would like to know why this happened.

More about Dr. Paul Stover, MD

Dr. Paul Stover has joined the Lees Summitt office of U.S. Dermatology Partners. Dr. Stover grew up in a farming community in Iowa and earned his bachelor’s degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He served internships at La Crosse Lutheran Hospital in Wisconsin and Iowa Methodist Medical Center. He completed a dermatology residency with MetroHealth Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Stover has practiced in Kansas and, most recently, in Wisconsin for 21 years. “I have always enjoyed detective and mystery novels and find dermatology is somewhat like being a detective,” he says. “We observe and then try to deduce the cause of the problem. I also enjoy seeing the wide range of ages in a dermatology practice, doing skin surgery, and the basic science involved in this part of medicine.” Dr. Stover’s main clinical interests include contact allergy, skin cancer, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and he enjoys building relationships with patients. “Most interesting is getting to know the story each patient is telling you,” Dr. Stover says. Dr. Stover and his family are happy to have relocated to Kansas City, where most of their relatives live. He spends his free time pursuing landscape photography, snorkeling and diving, golf, gardening, and theater.

Very informative. Good explanations.
I thought they treated people like cattle. They claimed they never even heard of Zocdoc and requested info I couldn't provide because I've a stroke or 2 which they should of gotten from you. I have a large wart on my finger that my doctor has treated that just keeps getting bigger and the Dr. Said use Compound W. He did provide a stronger prescription of what my nurse practitioner had already prescribed for my eczema. I will search for another dermatologist if I have any further problems.
