Dr. Bhandari was very generous with her time, which made up for the high out-of-network cost of the appointment. I do think the costs are justified for the services she offers, but it might not be worth it for folks like me who don't currently need regular medical attention. For instance, it's super neat that she offers home visits and 24-hr emergency access. This would be a huge help to anyone in need of more frequent medical attention. It's a comfort knowing that this kind of service is available.
She was very thorough with her questions about my health and answers to all of my concerns. She gave me take home notes for all of the health issues that we discussed, which was really helpful.
One novel thing is that she sells nutritional supplements at her office. I don't think I've ever seen that at a doctor's office before. While it made getting one of her suggested treatments super easy, I left feeling uneasy about it. Doctors often see us when we're in a more vulnerable state and when we're more susceptible to sales tactics that relate to health goals. I don't think Dr. Bhandari has anything but good intentions for me and all of her patients. I'm realizing that I'm more comfortable when my doctor and my pharmacy are separate.

Dr Bhandari is an attentive, caring, and diligent professional healer. Her personable and holistic approach in diagnosing and coming up with a customized treatment plan is like no other. Additionally, she always goes over and above to get you well and keep you well. Her responsiveness to any inquiries or worries, and professionalism in patient service is first rate. I cannot recommend her enough!

I was a bit concerned with how she provided a receipt to show my insurance with higher costs than what she charged me for. The whole "deal" was very focused on business. But she seemed like a good dr.

She is crazy knowledgeable and was able to tell me what was wrong right away. It's also very apparent she cares about the wellbeing of her patients. She's also just a super sweet person. Will not go to see anyone else in the city besides her!

Really enjoy my visits with Dr. Bhandari. She explains medical diagnosis and provides detailed notes with additional advice on how to live a more healthy lifestyle (in addition to any prescription you may need).

I met Dr. Bhandari today. I'm not one to write reviews but truly feel that she deserves a strong recommendation. If you are struggling with any kind of chronic illness, you will be doing yourself a great service by meeting with her.
Here are a few things you can expect:
1) She takes the time to listen to you. My previous doctor was always trying to rush you in and out. Dr. Bhandari actually blocks 1 hour for a physical, and stays in the room asking if you have any other questions.
2) You can get an appointment the same day.
3) She is has an open communication policy build on email, web based records, appointment setting and text messaging! My situation requires some close handling and tuning. These tools support building a real dialog.
4) She knows her stuff. I have a rare condition that she was able to help me better understand. But more importantly, she's helped me map the impact of my lifestyle, diet, and medications together. What this has done is open my eyes to the impact of what I am doing. It's not just about taking medicine, but it's medicine and your lifestyle's impact together on my system.
5) She was on time. We started almost 10 mins early and she carried over another 30 mins.
I was really impressed with the content of the discussion and the effort she put forth to understand me uniquely and develop strategies to optimize my health. Her approach delivers very practical, logical suggestions that make me extremely hopeful.

The overall visit was very good. It seems that the ZocDoc experience (overheard gripes from the admin's desk) is giving them some challenges when managing appointments for customers. Aside from that, everyone seemed very helpful and professional. Payal was very welcoming, sincere, and easy to talk to during my visit. I am usually terrified and/or extremely dislike visiting the doctor. Most OB/GYN doctors I have visited are cold, disinterested, rude, or creepy. Payal was the opposite. She discussed all of my options for my immediate needs while visiting. Sending a prescription was just a click-away for her. Yes! We are finally in 2011 in the medical industry!! It was a quick and relatively painless visit. I am happy to have found a new primary care physician that I would like to continue to use! Thanks. :-)
