What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
Working as a healthcare provider allows me the opportunity to nurture my innate desire to help others while earning a living. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from South University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive care.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I believe that integrating behavioral health and primary care services can enhance compliance with preventive care, thereby improving the effectiveness of chronic disease management and behavioral health.

I enjoy action movies, romance novels, and traveling.

Awful, assumed that I was trying to abuse my medication by simply switching to another doctor that prescribes the specific medicine that is most effective for me. The lack of compassion, incorrect assumptions, and lack of modern perspective is alarming in mental health today.

Very quickly she understood me and my needs. I felt like I was in a safe space. I usually have anxiety when having doctors appointments but she made me feel ok, by letting me know not to worry we’ll work on my health together. I just felt like I was getting good advice and care from a friend. I’m looking forward to making my next appointment so we can move forward on my health journey together!
