Dr. Perry Umlauf, O.D. has been practicing optometry for almost 25 years. He graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1987 and completed a one year residency in hospital based optometry at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lebanon, PA in 1988. Sine his residency until 2009 Dr. Umlauf practiced with ophthalmologist Dr. Albert Alley in Lebanon, PA. He was active in World Blindness Outreach where he participated on a vision mission to the Dominican Republic. Dr. Umlauf was president of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association in 2008. He was also twice Pennsylvania Optometrist of the year.
Currently he is active in the Colorado Optometric Association and is president of the Denver Metro Optometric Society. For the past 3 years Dr. Umlauf practiced at Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Umlauf’s clinical background includes the diagnosis and management of anterior segment disease such as ‘pink’ eye and glaucoma. He also manages hard to fit contact lens patients including patients with keratoconus.
Dr. Umlauf will be married to his lovely wife Suzette 20 years this October. If he is not working, you will find him on the golf course or skiing.

Terrible! Waited 45 minutes with dialated eyes to be seen and the doctor did not seem very friendly at all! I was charged unexpectedly for something I didnt have done and when I asked why, they tried having me read something with dialated eyes and they didnt seem to care that I couldnt read it and ignored my concerns. Was told I would be able to drive just fine with dialated eyes but was never given eye protection before I left and ended up having to find a ride home! Unbelievable!
