Dr Zubin Maslov has received her medical degree and postdoctoral PhD degree from School of Medicine, University of Split, Croatia. During her PhD training she became proficient in the use of microneurography technique to record muscle sympathetic nerve activity in chronic heart failure patients and in patients with obstructive sleep apnea. After relocation to New York City, United States, Dr Zubin Maslov has joined Dr Jagat Narula as a research fellow at Department of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Morningside hospital and has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of primary prevention of cardiovascular disease and women cardiovascular health. Dr Zubin Maslov completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Morningside hospital and Mount Sinai West hospital. Dr Zubin Maslov then pursued her Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside hospital. She joined the faculty as a full-time Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai Heart, Mount Sinai Morningside hospital.
