Dr. Bretsky was great. I just moved here from another state and have chronic medical conditions. He quickly calmed my worries about receiving care that was equal to the care I had with my previous doctor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a down to earth, caring physician.

Dr. Bretksy and his entire office is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. I started going to them with a more serious problem but they handle small things just as well as they do bigger problems.

I really enjoyed Dr. Bretsky, but unfortunately moved to San Francisco. He was really easy to talk to, and took extra time to make sure that all my questions were answered. Very personable and friendly.

Dr. Bretsey is very nice but, there are several items that bother me about this practice.
First, before seeing the doctor, they make all their patients put a credit card on file and charge for any billing charges under $100 - without any notice.
Second, if they call your insurance company they charge you $15 per call. This really irks me because I've never experienced this kind of charge. The front office staff at all other doctor's offices that I've been to deal with insurance and billing as a part of their job. Why are we expected to pay extra money at this practice for a service that has always been included at other practices?
Third, they quote 7-10 business days to get lab results back. I've always received a call from my previous doctors about test results in 3-4 days so this seemed a bit ridiculous to me.
Lastly, they don't validate parking so you end up paying $10+ for a quick doctor's visit. I wouldn't mind paying for parking as much if the above mentioned problems didn't exist, but they do.
My take from my visit was that the doctor is very nice but the service is sub par compared to other practices.

The follow-up with paperwork was pretty difficult, just to get a simple receipt emailed to me took months. During this time period, my insurance benefits card was put on hold because it took so long.

Doctor Bretsky seems to be a good doctor but the big problem is that he rushes the visit a lot and you end up always wondering whether you were assisted in the best way possible. Also, the office billing is somehow unclear and burdensome. They charge you for small things, such as calling the insurance to get authorization for a new medication and I had a couple of episodes where I did a small procedure, the doctor did not inform me of costs, and I ended up paying few hundred dollars out of pockets.

I had my first visit today and I can say that it was one of the better experiences I've had. Dr. Bretsky was very friendly and explained everything to me so I could understand what was going on with my body. It only took me 10 minutes to fill out the paperwork and waited 5 minutes after that. Very good first visit and I would recommend to anyone who asks.

I generally choose physicians based on referrals and word of mouth from friends and/or colleagues. I couldn't find any primary care docs close to my home/work, so I decided to visit Dr. Bretsky. I'm very happy that I did. Dr. Bretsky and his staff were great - they were knowledgeable, efficient, personable and professional. Dr. Bretsky was very informative throughout the whole exam and explained exactly what he procedures he was performing. I highly recommend using his services.
