They were very nice and gave good instructions for the treatment of my conditions. I didn't wait long and the appointment didn't take too long either, they heard me out and were able to recommend me what I needed. Will be going for a follow-up and looking forward to it.

Very long wait (hour and a half) and an incompetent/nasty receptionist who didn't count zocdoc appointments at "real" appointment (??). Dr. Fried was nice and pleasant but would still absolutely never return because of the waiting room experience.

My visit to West Derm Center was absolutely acceptable. I would rate this place zero stars if I could. Do not waste your time. I received my confirmation of my appointment, but when I arrived there I was told I wasn’t on the schedule and would need to wait for an hour to be seen. The staff was extremely rude and disorganized. Not to mention, their “patient waiting room” is the size of a closet packed to the brim with people in the midst of coronavirus. I would never recommend this pathetic excuse for legitimate healthcare practice.

The doctor was very thorough. There wasn’t a wait time. He understood all my concerns and was very attentive. The dermatologist was extremely knowledgeable.
April 14, 2020Jessenia R.Verified patient
He was very thorough with the explanation of my condition and he suggested a lot of practical interventions that didn't need me buying a ton of medication. I highly recommend him if you have problems with your skin or have a chronic skin disorder. Be prepared for the wait times because he can run late time to time.
December 16, 2019Jefferson B.Verified patient
Not only was the wait time ridiculous, when I asked them why I had been waiting an hour + to be seen, they told me it was because I didn't call in. If you aren't going to accurately give appointments online, then DON'T USE THIS SERVICE. Extremely, extremely frustrating day, overall took like two hours to get a very simple keloid looked at. Will NOT be going back.

Dr. Fried was very friendly, however this office's timeliness leaves something to be desired. Arrived 20 minutes before my appointment, and wasn't seen until over an HOUR after said time. What's even the point then?
February 21, 2019Ricky R.Verified patient
I feel if you have an appointment you shouldnt be sitting long. I get that they had a lot of patients they should have a better system to get everyone out.

Professional and kind. Gave me some samples to try a few things out. Overall it was a good visit. The office is in an apartment building, so I was confused upon arrival but it seems there are a few offices on that first level.

After some initial confusion regarding my Zocdoc appointment, the receptionist made a sincere effort to fit me in. The wait time was only about 15-20 minutes and Dr. Fried couldn’t have been more helpful. He was friendly, thorough and clear about the course of treatment I should follow.
January 14, 2019Kristin H.Verified patient
The visit was horrible, wait time was over 1 hour and a half with over 20 people waiting to be seen. No point of having an appointment because ur not seen on time.
August 15, 2018Kimberly P.Verified patient
The wait time was about 40 minutes. Doctor Esther was very knowledgeable and helpful. She prescribed various medications to help with my skin issues. The office was pleasant, not the most spacious but nice. Will definitely go back for follow ups.

I really liked this guy, but there was a huge problem with his receptionist. I booked my zoo doc appointment for 9 in the morning because I had to prior engagements at around 11:30, so I thought this would be plenty of time. I was the first one in the office and waited for quite a bit of time. Every few minutes, someone else would come in and wait for the doctor until the room was completely full, and no one was getting seen after an hour of waiting. I asked the receptionist nicely when I would be seen because it was an hour. She told me the doctor doesn't get in until 10:30. I asked her why she would book people at 9 if the doctor comes in at 10:30, why make me come in so early to wait an hour and a half. She gave me an attitude and said the doctors office doesn't take appointment times, its first come first serve. If I knew this I wouldn't have booked. I live a 5 minute walk away from the office, I could have left and gotten some food or something in the mean time. She told me if I didn't like it, I could leave. I decided to stick it out for a few more minutes and as soon as I got up to leave, the doctor walked in. Then the receptionist called someone that wasn't me even though I was the first one signed in and the first one in the room. I wasn't seen until 11.
The doctor was really cool though! Really nice and answered a lot of questions I had. He really worked with me because my health insurance doesn't cover much of the creams I needed, but he found something that was covered. Really nice guy, just need to sack the receptionist.

The office was small, crowded, and not clean. The office triple books patients and even with a Zoc Doc confirmation email, the front desk staff questions if you actually had an appt. And yes they triple book I shared the same time slot as the gentleman to the left of me and the child to the right of me. The actual visit lasted 5 minutes and wasn't very thorough.
