About Dr. Teresa Song
Dr. Teresa Song is a board-certified dermatologist with a clinical interest in both general and cosmetic dermatology. Aside from managing complex medical dermatology, she also has expertise in a wide array of aesthetic procedures including neuromodulators, fillers, platelet-rich plasma, laser devices, radiofrequency microneedling, chemical peels, body contouring, and more. Her clinical passion includes biostimulatory procedures that enhance and boost the patient’s own natural reserves, as well as inflammatory skin disorders such as eczema and alopecia. Dr. Song also enjoys managing pediatric skin conditions and serves as a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital Dermatology residency.
Dr. Song graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, now known as the CUNY School of Medicine at City College, where she completed a prestigious accelerated BS/MD combined 7-year program in partnership with SUNY Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. During medical school, she was involved in pharmacological research studying the anti-inflammatory and cancer-preventing effects of NOSH-aspirin and received multiple fellowships to conduct research locally and abroad on the signal transmission of pain receptors. She was awarded the Robert F. Furchgott Research Award for outstanding scientific merit and graduated with distinction in research. Dr. Song completed her internship in medicine at NYU Langone Hospital and her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Throughout her training, she also tutored peers in subjects ranging from biochemistry to microbiology.

There was a wait period of more than 30 minutes. They asked me to change into the paper gown and the provider was 30 minutes late. When I raised my concerns about being late and also feeling cold, they told me she was with another patient. How could a provider be with the other patient during my appointment time? Anyway when she came there was no apology. The appointment was less than 5 minutes long. And they took the picture of my back body without my consent. I am not going to this provider again.

My daughter was late to her appointment, owing to subway issues, As such her appointment with Dr. Song was cancelled, but an alternate dermatologist appointment was substituted for it, in the same office, with another doctor, on the fly. My daughter received excellent and knowledgeable care, The dermatologist treated her well and with great care. My daughter was extremely happy with her visit and given treatment.
