Phoebe Rich, M.D. has been a practicing dermatologist in NW Portland for 28 years, and is an adjunct professor of Dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University where she is director of the Nail Disorder Clinic. She is nationally and internationally known for her expertise in nail disorders, tumors, and nail surgery, and she lectures worldwide on that topic.
Dr. Rich is the principal investigator at Oregon Dermatology and Research Center where she oversees clinical pharmaceutical trials in areas of psoriasis, acne, rosacea, fungal diseases, precancerous, and cancerous skin conditions. Patients who choose to participate in clinical studies receive study medication, all study related care, labs at no cost, and are reimbursed for their time and travel. Currently our site has ongoing trials with new medications for psoriasis, nail fungus, acne, rosacea, actinic keratoses, and other dermatologic conditions. Dr. Rich was awesome - she spent plenty of time with and explained my diagnosis very clearly. I had a few questions and she took time to make sure I understood. She even drew me a picture! Very nice lady and I would definitely go back and recommend her to other patients.

Dr. Rich was very thorough and explained in detail what had happened with my finger nail. She was very careful in removing a cyst as well as protecting the area for when I was leaving the office.
I was referred specifically to Dr. Rich by my primary care physician of 25 years, and again have been very pleased that he entrusted me to the best care around.

Dr. Rich is a knowledgeable and caring person. She puts you at ease and that makes you comfortable and able to discuss your reason for visiting her. Comforting to know that your problems have been seen and treated before. Let her know that I had seen someone prior to her and she was understanding of that as well. So happy that I was able to bring her my yucky finger problem.

I love that Dr. Rich seems to really enjoy her work. Every time I see her, she steps out to look at something under the microscope! She is very positive and balanced and does a good job of explaining the science/medicine that informs her recommendations.
