My wait time was attributed to my late arrival. His staff was very kind and professional. His office is located inside a hospital. The reception area is large and equipped with snacks while you wait. Dr. Guibor is kind and knowledgeable about my medical condition and how it affects my vision. He offered me topics to research so that I am an informed patient. Definitely my opthamologist of choice covered by my insurance.

Honestly, I don't think you can have a better doctor experience. I was seen the same day I experienced eye issues, was greeted by Dr. Guibor as soon as I walked in with seeming recognition even though I had never met him. We arrived, I was diagnosed and treated, and scheduled for a follow up appointment within 30 minutes. Being that it was an infection, I have now seen Dr. Guibor on five occasions with nearly perfect experiences each time. I will absolutely return for any future eye discomfort.

Wish I could do a 3.5. (0.5 more because I like his personality.) Very old school. He is great if you need a very thorough exam, but for what I went to see him for (just a regular visit) it was a bit of overkill. (Also, my fault because I should have just gone to the opthamologist - but he was closer.) Also, don't bother filling out the ZocDoc online check-in forms. He'll have you fill them out with him.
