Pooja Doshi, MD, FACOG is a board certified OB/GYN who joined Northwestern Specialists for Women in 2019. She enjoys providing women with healthcare through all phases of their lives. She believes that it is imperative for women to keep an eye on their physical and mental health from adolescence through menopause, and works hard to assist women in achieving these goals. Her personal interests include obstetrics with caring for both low risk and high risk pregnancies (including advanced maternal age, chronic hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and multiple gestations). Also, she has an interest in minimally invasive treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, and management of abnormal pap smears, STDs, contraception, and menstrual irregularities.
Dr. Doshi received her Bachelor in Integrated Life Sciences and Medical Degree from a combined BS/MD program at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her residency training at Rush University Medical Center brought her to Chicago with her husband. She is a fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to joining NSW, she practiced obstetrics and gynecology for 10 years at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, IL. She has given lectures on various pregnancy topics and menopause.
Outside of work, Dr. Doshi spends time with her husband and three kids enjoying Chicago city life, traveling, playing tennis, and reading. She is fluent in English and Hindi.

I truly love Dr. Doshi. I began seeing Dr. Doshi during my pregnancy with my second in the middle of the pandemic. Partners were not able to attend the visits and Dr. Doshi always made me feel so comfortable I almost didn't miss him. I had two Obgyn prior to Dr doshi and she has been the best doctor yet. She has empathy never makes you feel rushed or like you're asking too many questions. She delivered my second in legitimately 10 minutes which was awesome. I hope they all are that easy! She is the best and highly recommended!
