I just thought it was one of the most pleasant experiences I ever had in a doctor's office. She was very professional in demeanor yet she had a very nice, outgoing personality. Dr. Neerukonda appeared to me to be someone who was very approachable and very easy to talk to. She is a true professional! I won't hesitate to go back there again, for sure.

Dr. Neerukonda earned her Bachelors Degree with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, with a double major in Biology and Psychology. Prior to matriculating to medical school, she joined the AmeriCorps program, which is dedicating to completing a year of service to the community. She then went on to graduate among the top of her medical school class at the Chicago Medical School with numerous honors and accolades including early acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Neerukonda completed her residency in ophthalmology at the The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she was named Chief Resident. She then went on to complete an intensive fellowship in glaucoma management and surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Before moving to Philadelphia and joining Ophthalmolgy Surgeons and Physicians, she practiced in Chicago as a glaucoma specialist.
Dr. Neerukonda is a board certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association. Dr. Neerukonda is currently seeing patients at our Wyndmoor and Springhouse office locations.
