Very professional and I felt like my medical needs were important and taken seriously, however for those who need someone cozy and reassuring she is rather quick and clinical, but only because she has so many patients to attend to! She put in my Nexplanon implant and was quick and efficient and I’m grateful for that. Overall very very good.

Dr. Rachel Paccione comes to Atlanta after growing up in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Rachel Paccione graduated in 2003 from the University of Virginia as a distinguished Echols Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Bioethics, Public Health, and Health Policy with a concentration in Medical Ethics. She then furthered her education with a Post-graduate Certificate in Neuroantaomy and Master of Science in Biochemistry from Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr. Rachel Paccione received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2010 before completing her OB/GYN Residency here in Atlanta from Emory University of School of Medicine.

I saw Dr. Paccione May 2017 for my annual physical. She was great! When I tried to book an appointment this year, all I've gotten is a run-around so I will not be returning which is unfortunate. She's a great doctor, but if your office staff can't handle booking appointments, what's the point?

Honestly, I feel like the practice was the issue, and not the doctor herself. Rachel was very nice and professional, and I felt comfortable in the room with her. I had some issues with billing, front-office service, and test results. As a new patient, I was expected to know I should pee in a cup after checking in, which I did not. I was told the doctor would come back into the room to discuss the medication I was getting and what it was for, and she never did. My test results were never sent to me. When they did get them to my new doctor, the results did not match the same tests I took elsewhere. The office itself felt like a pregnancy farm, shuffling women in and back out as fast as possible and charging you up front.

Dr. Paccione was very welcoming and reassuring even with this being my first appointment at her office. She provided me a lot of resources for follow up on topics of interest to me. This was hands down better than my last annual and I actually look forward to seeing her again. The office staff was great as well. Very friendly, efficient and funny.

I did not like her attitude. She wasn't really healthful or asked me questions about how I was feeling. She couldn't even tell me how many weeks I was. I really received a bad vibe from her. It was like she didn't want to be there. I will not be returning.

Apparently the day I was seen was an unusually busy day. One nurse said appointments were "double booked". Which is why I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen as well as some other women. I grew irritated because I was assured on the phone a few days prior that I'd leave in time for work. Although the appointment got off to a bumpy start, I didn't have to wait for anything else once I was in! All of the staff was amazing. I love Dr. Paccione- she put me at ease because it's east to tell she knows what she's doing, and she's even funny. I'll admit I felt a lack of closure from her, at one point I expected her to come back. But I'll let it slide this time, and I look forward to seeing her again.

Working as an executive in customer service it takes a lot to impress me most days but wow- Dr. Paccione is incredible at what she does. I have high anxiety (even take meds for it its so severe) and I was nervous to say the least to remove my IUD today. She connected with me immediately in a warm genuine way and answered all my questions. She kept me focused during the procedure continuously talking with me and giving me a heads up on it all so I felt at ease. She wrapped up efficiently respecting my time but answered even more questions calmly so I didn't feel rushed. She assured me she would always take good care of me whatever the need. I have truly found my OB for life. Kudos to the entire office; conveniently located and all staff were knowledgeable and kind.
