Rajeev Narayan, M.D. comes from a distinguished academic background. Having graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from an accelerated dual degree medical program from NJ Medical School, Rajeev went on to train in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He further specialized in cardiology & interventional cardiology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, before joining an advanced interventional cardiology training program at the Mass General Hospital, where he specialized in the percutaneous treatment of peripheral vascular & structural heart diseases. Rajeev has authored numerous manuscripts in prominent peer reviewed publications & his work has been presented at national & international conferences.
In addition to performing the full array of general cardiology diagnostic & therapeutic procedures, Rajeev will be joining the experienced percutaneous coronary, valvular & structural interventional cardiology team at Westwood Cardiology. Rajeev’s additional skills & training will open several new lines of care for Westwood Cardiology. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with you to provide the best possible cardiovascular care for your patients.
Philosophy of Practice: I believe in exploring all options and eliminating the mindset of impossible by effectively delivering state-of-the-art healthcare to every person. Through my experience caring for complex patients, I developed a unique interest in helping people with highly advanced cardiac and vascular conditions, & have specific expertise in novel interventional therapies for the treatment of complex vascular, structural & coronary heart disease.
