Dr. Hsieh received his undergraduate education at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois where he graduated with a degree in Biology. He attended medical school at Northwestern University as well, completing his medical degree in 1998. As Chief Resident during his anesthesiology residency at UC Irvine, Dr. Hsieh received the Konchigari Award for Resident of the Year, as well as the anesthesiology departments research award. Through ongoing participation in multiple research studies related to pain stimulation in various brain regions, Dr Hsieh discovered an interest in Pain Management, which led to fellowship training at University of California, San Francisco. Dr Hsieh’s commitment to research keeps Pain Care of Silicon Valley well-versed in all the latest advances in Pain Management. He also speaks conversational Taiwanese.
