Dr. Tamez is great! She answered all questions I had and was very nice. If I have friends who need a dermatologist I will be referring them to her. I liked that she offered various treatment options but wasn’t pushy at all. Was in and out in half an hour.

Dr. Rebecca Tamez is a board certified Adult and Pediatric Dermatologist with expertise in both medical and cosmetic Dermatology. Prior to joining the practice of Dr. Bruce Robinson, she was Chief Resident of Dermatology at North Shore/LIJ Medical Center on Long Island. She completed her medical training at New York University, with residencies at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center and Hoftra-Northwell Health System. She is from South Bend, Indiana and pursued an undergraduate degree in Biology from Purdue University.
The research of Dr. Tamez has been published in numerous peer-review publications as well as abstracts and oral presentations. She was selected to attend the American Academy of Dermatology cosmetic procedure training program and she has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a staff scientist and microbiology intern. Presently, she volunteers at Hofstra-Northwell where she works with and teaches students and dermatology residents.

Dr Tamez was right on target. Diagnosed and cured my skin rashes within 1 week I’d my office visit. Dr Tamez listened to my input and with her expertise, I was quickly on the road to recovery.
I was so impressed with the professionalism of the office staff.

Overall a fantastic experience. Dr Tamez saw me right on time, she was very proffesional, friendly, and knowledgable. Having suffered from the same skin issue multiple times, I've had to see multiple dermotoligists over the years. This was by far the best experience I've had with a dermotoligist in New York. Would reccomend without any hesitation.

Dr. Becky Tamez is an excellent physician with a calming presence. She was very compassionate and explained the risks and benefits of the procedure and was cognizant of my comfort the entire time. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Tamez is a charm. She made me feel very comfortable despite it being my first time getting a cosmetic procedure. She was thorough in her explanations and gentle with her touch. I’m quite happy with the outcome. Highly recommend without reservation.

Excellent experience. A physicians work is always best when the patient feels that: they have the knowledge to understand with the problem, they care about the patient and they provide clarity regarding how they plan to confirm their diagnosis and how they plan to tackle it.
All these apply to my experience with Dr. Tamez. To add to that the right treatment resulted in a speedy recovery, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks!

I had received Botox and filler treatment from Dr. Tamez on several occasions over the past couple of years. I have been very satisfied with the results. The effects looked very natural, not overdone. During my visits, Dr. Tamez has been very professional, knowledgeble, pleasant and patient, answering all my questions and concerns. Dr. Tamez has always followed up with me soon after treatment to make sure I have been satisfied with the results or if I had any issues. I highly recommend Dr. Tamez for any dermatological services.

Dr. Tamez is a superb dermatologist. I saw Dr. Tamez for an ongoing rash that I had seen many doctors for in the past but never resolved. She diagnosed me accurately and started me on oral medication and now the rash has finally resolved. I also saw Dr. Tamez for botox and filler after my rash resolved. She did a spectacular job and I will definitely be going back. I give her my highest recommendation! Extremely knowledgeable, sincere, and compassionate!
