The staff was fantastic and the appointment went by quickly. I will say make sure you have quarters to park with because as far as i know its only street parking.

Dr. Machado began his medical education at the Ponce School of Medicine in his native Puerto Rico. He completed his postdoctoral internship and residency in Puerto Rico as well, studying internal medicine at the Veteran Administration Medical Center in San Juan and the San Juan City Hospital. Dr. Machado relocated to the United States to complete his geriatric medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Medicine. Dr. Machado is currently practicing with the Thorek Memorial Hospital and Ambulatory Care Clinics. Dr. Machado enjoys bringing comfort, consideration, and care to his patients, no matter their age. I waited for an hour and 45 minutes, at which point I had to leave the waiting room to pay the parking meter again. When I returned, the doctor came to see me right away, which makes me think I was forgotten about. I don't mind waiting, but there was NO ONE else in the office which is what made it frustrating.
Once he saw me, he asked some questions, but seemed unwilling to do any extensive questions or research, despite my having had problems for the past month. He told me what he thought it might be (and when I asked what it was, he did not elaborate) and then prescribed me a general medication that has had no effect. I NEVER write bad reviews, but I was generally pretty unimpressed with this place.
