My goal is to take care of people now and help them take care of themselves for the future. I do this by listening first, then examining, finally using my training to find the right solution for that particular patient. Although we treat diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, osteoporosis, our goal is to identify risk factors early so that we can avoid progression to more serious conditions.

Hard to blame Zocdoc for this catastrophe, but perhaps this office should be removed from Zocdoc's system--I and a half dozen other patients who booked through Zocdoc were told there was a new internal computer system so we might have to come back another time. Maybe not the most unreasonable compromise, but I spent the previous day in the ER in severe pain. And, given how inept the entire staff seemed (there were multiple people standing around looking at computer screens, puzzled, no doubt confused about how this 'new system' worked...), I couldn't imagine returning at a later time and/or date. I sat around for 15 minutes waiting for an acknowledgement from one of the 5-6 administrative staff who were in various states of crisis trying to figure out how to print a referral, wondering where a patient's prescription went, how to change the spelling of a patient's name, how one patient got another patient's forms, etc.--ghastly incompetence. Seriously, though, this was the least professional doctor's office I've ever seen, and I've seen doctors in what some call the developing world. That a medical salesperson was seen before any patients was also a sad sign. Having been to this practice three times prior and experienced average service at best, I'd say look for another practitioner. I'm sure the staff were well-meaning and I sense that ultimately the problem wasn't something they caused, but someone messed up and the persons most in need of help--the patients--were ignored.
