Patient reviews for Dr. Richard Butlig
Didn't appreciate the long wait when I have a schedule appointment a hour way is way too long
Dr. Harding was excellent and I can only recommend her. I felt treaded professional but also that she cared.
Okay ... good
Quick and painless
I was with Dr. Riza. I highly recommend Dr. Butlig's team. Really helpful when it came to my issue.
The visit was great, Doctor was great and professional, follow up and office administration was not...
I could tell that he really cares about his patients and has cutting edge medical knowledge. He wasn't the kind of doctor that pushes pharmaceuticals, he seems more naturopathic and I really appreciate that. He will be my doctor from now on.
Office secretary not very helpful. Doesnt say ianytjing just let you wait.
Professional service, does not rush and has a incredible memory. An Internal Med Doc as a primary Doc is the way to go!
Very nice office and staff!
Wait time was long
Loved it. I learned a lot about my health plus got a good report.
He was intended to what I personally needed! His staff were friendly.
Had a very good experience. Appointment was fast and the PA who helped me was very thoughtful and helpful
Extremely thorough, very professional, welcoming, explained everything! I switched doctors to have Dr Butlig as my primary.
Excellent care with friendly and professional support staff. They were backed up that day so I had to wait a while but I would say it was worth it because I got the care that I needed that day.
Very courteous and friendly with professional services.
I was seen by one of the other doctors there and am very pleased with everything about my visit. The doctor took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Every appointment I have had there has been a good experience from the office staff to the all the doctors I have met with. I highly recommend Dr. Butlig and his staff.
Great first visit, but I never saw the main doctor. Not even to say hi. Hoping the next visits will go just as well. The Carson office looks spacious and clean but a bit outdated. The staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable.
Had an appoitnment at 9:30, showed up at 9:10 to fill out paperwork. It was 11:15 before someone called me back, I was told the Dr. was stuck in traffic. The nurse was awesome, the pysicians assistant seemed incredibly unsure of himself and seemed to avoid any eye contact. When I questioned his diagnosis he sent in the Doctor who I spoke to for a whopping 15 seconds. (The assistants diagnosis was in fact incorrect). All in all, I spent over two hours in a Doctors office to be perscribed some antibiotics and told to come back in two weeks.
The doctor took her time with the examination and asked me questions to help her with the diagnosis. I felt she was really listening to me. And the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Peter the technician who drew my blood. I actually had a question and i had to call the office after I left, he made a point of calling me back with a response within a very short time. I think this was the best experience I've had going to Dr. Butlig and I've been going to his office for several years. Thanks!
His support staff was surprisingly helpful and knowledgeable
Great visit thank you so much for being so diligent and for reviewing all systems, symptoms and complaints! Getting a baseline for cardiovascular health and monitoring lab work!
Thank You Zoc Doc!! I just moved to Long Beach from Phoenix and I needed to find a new GP. I found Dr Butlig on Zoc Doc, he had good reviews and I was able to book everything online (Which I Love). I had all those brutal "new patient" forms filled out through Zoc Doc before my appointment which made everything so much better. I showed up to my appointment about 30 minutes early and the reception was warm and friendly and the waiting room was clean and organized. One of the young ladies came over to me while I was waiting and signed me up to their new service (It is a free service) to be able to see and do everything with them online!! She walked me through the entire process, which was pretty brief. A minute or 2 later I was called back and began my physical. I saw a physicians assistant who seemed more than capable in her job. Her bedside manor was warm and friendly, and just like everyone else there she seemed very genuine. She took the time to ask lots of questions and actually listened to my answers. I did not feel rushed at all, in fact it was quite the opposite, I get the feeling she would have spent as much time as I wanted or needed to spend. What I really loved about this place is everyone who worked there had a smile on their face and just seemed to be genuinely happy. I usually do not write reviews, but I have to say between Zoc Doc and Dr Butlig's office this was the easiest transition to a new physician I have ever had. Great Job everyone!!
Dr. Butlig was great and I have no complaints about our time together. The visit was quick but covered my concerns and provided a treatment plan. He took enough time to explain etiology of my illness and the purpose of the prescribed medications. The sour note was waiting one full hour past my scheduled appt time before being brought back to the exam room. I arrived to the office prior to my visit time to be able to fill out forms etc. That amount of wait time for a 9:30 am appointment seems extreme. If I return I will be sure to book the first appt of the morning.
My husband and I both had a great experience on our first visit with Dr. Butlig. The staff was friendly and we were helped right away. We scheduled the appointments to get the flu and tdap vaccine. Dr. Butlig was very upfront about some insurances not covering the tdap and was able to have his receptionist call our insurance to make sure we would be covered so we didn't have to come back for another appointment. He was also very helpful addressing other concerns we had and took his time speaking with us. We'll definitely be using him as our primary care physician!
Dr. Butlig was really personable and friendly. He seemed to really care about my concerns and knowledgeable and honest.
As busy as the day was, Richard Butlig did not rush through my appointment. He gave full focus and was clear in educating me through the exam. I recommend him and will be looking forward to building a trusting relationship with him as my primary care doctor.
The wait time was long...But I most definitely recommend this doctor, she was great! I had a lot of concerns and I felt comfortable expressing them. Everyone was really nice.
Great clinic and great professional staff! First apointment at that clinic with Dr. Richard. The receptionist was very nice and so was the nurse. As for Dr. Richard, he is a very nice doctor as well, great personality and very knowledgeable. He listened carefully to my health concern and performed his diagnosis and recommended the necessary tests which are actually done in-house so you don't have to go to a lab and get the blood test done. Great experience and would recommend Dr. Richard and his staff to all my friends and family. Thank you
I don't really fault them for seeing me late because I myself was late to my appointment and the office was full of people. I actually saw Dr. Chau. She was very professional and full of information and advice and suggestions.
Quick, easy and painless visit! His nurses are patient, funny and very personable. Dr. Butlig was informative, helpful and listened rather than rushed through my consultation. I would definitely recommend him.
Very nice and polite. Attentive to my questions.
Great visit. In and out quickly and efficiently.
It went very well
i think the NP whom i saw is great. i DO however have an issue w/their prices. they charge the same (high) price for follow up visits as they do for the first visit, which is HIGHLY irregular and i think totally unfair and utterly expensive! that is my only complaint. oh, that and the wait time, it was a looooong wait.
He was good. I will go back.
Very good. Took care of my problem right away and did good job asking about my overall health.
