As a person who's parents are medical professionals, I am sympathetic to the industry and the staff who work so hard to provide medical treatment.
I will list my authentic, unbiased thoughts below as keep in mind I was a first time patient, and soon to be first time mother.
CONS:
-There are only 5 parking spots infant of the building otherwise I'm not sure where other's manage to find it.
-Appointment was set for 8:30am, but I was not seen (by the Dr.) until 10:30am.
-After being called to the back, no one really knew what to do with me so I stood near the "blood station" until someone asked me if I was being helped. I did this for over 45 minutes until I was noticed.
-Once I was told I was going to be seen soon, there was a scramble by the staff to locate my file. I know it was missing because someone asked and everyone said "they didn't have it". It was finally located, by the "blood station".
-In the exam room, Dr. Friefeld was extremely brief; Pap-smear was quick (certainly okay by me!) and once the u/s took into effect, he allowed my husband and I to appreciate the view of the baby for maybe 3-4min. He said heart beat looked good (we could not hear it) and he measured the baby from "rump to crown" and took note of it but made zero mention if all is healthy, on track or going well/bad.
-After the exam + u/s he told me to get dressed and leave the room. Once I did this, I was back at the desk near the "blood station" and was told I had to come back for bloodwork. Once I asked the girl (who barely spoke english) what exactly was being tested with the bloodwork, the Dr. came around the corner and said "We test for everything - Down Syndrome and other deformities along with the sex. It's 99% accurate but we've never had an issue with it before. See you then" - Then walked away.
-When I asked the girl when I could get those results, she said, "Don't worry, we will make an appointment follow up to review the results. If something bad happens, we will call you in beforehand to review."
-Overall, I was with the Dr. for maybe 15 minutes total.
-I left feeling very uneducated, and not knowing much anything about my baby other that it was moving in my uterus and had a visual heartbeat that looked strong.
-Bedside manners/Customer Service was C- at most.
-****Biggest con: apparently a newborn had died and one of the staff asked the doctor, in front of many patients and I in the back desk area (again, near the blood station), if he was available to speak to the medical examiner because a baby had died and was being seen by this doctor for care. He said not a problem, he would be happy to speak to the medical examiner about any questions but this is a conversation that should NOT happen infant of other patients particularly PREGNANT WOMEN! [The fact that a baby he had delivered + cared for had a passed away for reasons unknown, is NOT a good impression for a first time mother or any for that matter!]
PROS:
-The initial sign up paperwork was brief. The lady at the front desk was very kind and sweet.
-The lobby/waiting room is clean and warm. HD TV, plenty of reading material, information about 3d ultrasounds, pamphlets and more.
-This might be a great place for someone with multiple children who are seasoned vets, but not for first timers looking for kind & sweet Doctors.

The doctor took a vaginal us and kept no record of it! Now I either have to pay out of pocket for my new doctor to do an ultrasound or wait until I'm 13 weeks. 13 weeks to see my little bean! When I call to get information I am either put on hold then transferred to their answering service just to be hung up on OR the answering machine is full. This place is a circus. As a new mother I suggest that you find someone else. The office is dirty and the care is poor.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a more personal experience. This being my first pregnancy I had a lot of questions to ask the doctor and was very excited for my 5 week visit! However, my excitement changed upon arrival. I'm going to skip over the lack of parking, dirty lobby, dirty urine test bathroom and cramp space and get to the point...The doctor answered a phone call while fist deep in my vag taking a sonogram (or some test)!! I never imagined that the first time I saw my little bean it would be interpreted by the doctor talking on the phone about a conference! No questions were answered not that I was even asked by the doctor if I had any questions. He is awful and the jokes aren't funny. I have Humana Insurance and will be looking for a new doctor asap.

Dr Friefeld is an amazing doctor. He took the time to look into every detail of my past office visits in his office and was very caring, sincere and knowledgeable. He made me feel very much at ease and answered all my questions thoroughly and gave me new information I took with me to review. He seemed very concerned and made sure all my needs for my visit were taken care of.
I have been a patient for years at his office. Every visit is a delight. I will never go anywhere else.

His staff is very loving and caring. Dr. Friefeld is a very caring, attentive person. He takes his time to hear your concerns, and is very thorough. I'm sure you would agree with me once you schedule an appointment with him and see for yourself.

When I got to the office realized I know him already, and would never go back...
If you check his google and yahoo reviews you can see many real reviews what the reason is. He is rude ( when actually takes time to talk to you a few words at least), office is dirty and the waiting time is horrible.
