Dr. Richard Jablonski is co-owner of LakeRidge Vision Source which he founded with his part-ner, and former ICO classmate Dr. Diane Conness in 1985. Dr. Jablonski attended the Universi-ty of Illinois for undergrad and studied at the Illinois College of Optometry for his doctorate (class of ’82). Dr. Jablonski joined a private practice in Crystal City (Washington DC) before opening LRVS with Dr. Conness.
Dr. Jablonski has been living and practicing in Northern Virginia for the past 30 years. He is a former treasurer and president of the Battlefied Optometric Association, and currently serves on the TLC Laser advisory board. Dr. Jablonski is certified in low vision therapy, and is a member of the Virginia Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the national Vision Source organization for private practitioners. Among other hobbies, he loves golfing, tennis, and racquet ball.

It was a lovely visit. i felt comfortable from the time I was checked in by two delightful girls at the counter to the last stop, which was picking up my new lenses placed into my favorite old frames. Edward was the genious that made that happen. Dr. Jablonski was so wonderful and explained everything that was being done and why. He discussed in depth all that I needed to know regarding my eye health. What a great office. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of a first class optometrist.
