About Dr. Aiatulah Surmaty
Dr. Surmaty was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Deciding to stay local, he went to our local George Mason University and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in pre-medicine.
He then traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to study at the Arizona College of Optometry which is part of the medical school of Midwestern University. Arizona College of Optometry is one of the most prominent optometry schools to become an eye doctor. They have one of the highest passing U.S. board exam rates among optometry schools, and their clinical training center for their students is one of the most modern and advanced among optometry schools.
Dr. Surmaty went on to complete his externship training at various renowned clinical eye care centers in the country. After completing his board exams, he traveled to the southeast region of Virginia to evaluate and treat patients.
Missing his home town, he returned to the Northern Virginia area to practice optometry by opening Eye Town Vision Center.
Dr. Surmaty looks forward to providing excellent eye care service for an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
