It was thrilling! From the moment I stepped into the waiting room I was filled with a zestiness I have seldom if ever experienced. My heart fluttered with anticipation and the session did not disappoint, Bandages were removed delicately & gracefully, swabs were executed with absolute precision and care. I came to see Joanne for Botox & fillers. The office staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Joanne was very pleasant and took her time answering all my questions and concerns. I love my results!! Everyone tells me how refreshed I look. My results are very natural looking.

Dr. Batra is delighted to be practicing in her hometown. A native of Los Angeles, she ventured east for undergraduate studies at Harvard University after graduating Valedictorian of Palisades High School. At Harvard, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Batra graduated early from Harvard in three years and was selected from California as the youngest Rhodes Scholar. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Genetics at the University of Oxford, England.
Dr. Batra earned her medical degree with honors from Harvard Medical School, where she was President of the Student Council. She also earned a Master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her Internship, Residency, and Chief Residency in dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She returned to Boston for fellowship training in Dermatologic, Laser, Cosmetic and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill as well as clinical research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Batra was the Section Head of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, CA. She remains actively involved in clinical research and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the USC Keck School of Medicine. She is also a Contributing Editor for the journal Dermatologic Surgery and a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

I love Joanne! She has the best bed side manner. Always cheerful & helpful with my medical issues.

I was dissappointed in the operation at Dr Batras office.
First, I came early and still had to wait 40 minutes while two others who came in after me went first.
Second, the PA didn't really listen to my needs nor make recommendations for solutions to acne. Just said keep doing what you're doing. Didn't write a script or anything.
Third, I asked the front desk what to do next as I don't have any prescriptions for anything. They just said they would email me. Still haven't heard anything.
Why say you're going to do something and then not do it? Follow through is a strong indicator of professionalism. I'm going to look for someone else to go to now. Not worth the wait.
