I was greeted by everyone at the office. Walked in with a sprained ankle and was greeted by Olga to fill out some paperwork. Crystal, with a big smile on her face, had asked me to come in to take a picture and then proceeded to take my x-rays was wonderful. Doctor Aptekar greeted me within a minute after the x-rays with a sympathetic look about my sprain. Quick diagnosis with some suggestions for the most immediate recovery, which lead me to Diana, the physical therapist next door. She was amazing as well! Helped me fir into my ankle brace with a bright smile and also gave me a list of exercises to do at home. It didn't feel like an office, but more like a hospitality of your own home. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of an amazing orthopedist. I love the whole staff here!

He is a knowledgeable doctor but is in a rush to get you out of the door. I felt cut short and missed the opportunity to ask questions. He is also not a doctor to walk you through your condition and consult on what to do. He is very experienced and all he is interested in is the MRI, Xray (facts primarily) and not the patient's version of the condition

My experience with Dr. Aptekar, as well as his office and operating staff was excellent. He was very thorough, informative and experienced. I've been in pain for years and I trusted him completely at time of surgery. I normally get very ill from anesthesia and with the help of nurses and anesthesiologist, experienced no side effects. Dr. Aptekar was up for a challenge on my case, and did an outstanding job all around. I am now in physical therapy and the staff there is great, as well. I'm a very, very pleased patient. Thank you Dr. Aptekar for solving my problem!!

I had a hip replacement by Dr. Aptecar. I believe he is a good surgeon, but if you want any consultation- forget about it. Since the surgery every appointment is 5 seconds long. I didn't even have time to ask any questions. He is very positive and always sais: "you will be just fine" and immediately runs out the office. I believe and hope he did a good job, but 7 weeks later I am still in pain and still have a slight limp. I believe I am getting better.... Time will show,

After seeing two other orthopedic surgeons, who were doing nothing and claiming that I had frozen shoulder, Dr. Aptekar met with me a few times, evaluated my symptoms, and shortly thereafter performed a surgery and found that my biceps tendon was being torn by a bone spur. He removed the bone spur, as well as cleaned up about 7 other things in my shoulder joint. I was amazed at how well the laproscopic surgery was done. My shoulder is so much better and I am back to fully functioning and even lifting my 40lb son. So thankful to have found a good surgeon.

I would highly recommend Dr Robert Aptekar. He performed surgery on my shoulder, and I am now pain free, with full range of motion, and back to full strength. He gave me my active lifestyle back, after thinking it was gone forever. It's great to be playing golf, tennis, racket ball, and basketball again. He, his staff, and the physical therapy team are all great!

I have to have knee surgery, I left his office feeling that I was in very good hands.i would have looked for another surgeon if I had any doubt in my mind. The entire physical therapy staff is outstanding and has listened to my every whine and treated me like I was important and mattered and made sure I was comfortable.

He has an unusual style. While very conscientiously friendly, he asked questions — e.g., "What would you like from me?" — in a slightly blunt manner. It felt like a test or challenge; no, actually, I don't know what his approach was meant to accomplish. But he was helpful + I don't doubt his good intentions.

The only issue was too many appointments booked at the same time. Although I did not wait in the waiting room a long time, I did have a long wait in the patient room to be seen. Kudos to your Office Staff they wonderful to deal with. Marietta a bit unprofessonial at times.

Of course I wish the results were different but that's not his fault.He did take the time to answer my questions.
