Check in went well, but I did call the morning of my appointment to confirm. Dr Hardin was very attentive, asked lots of questions and took notes. He explained tests that were needed and I was able to schedule them quickly.

He is also principal at Chevy Chase Gastroenterology and gastroenterology consultant for Physician Associates.

the office had called me MULTIPLE times before my appointment letting me know that my insurance couldn’t cover a operation but i was still able to have my appointment, i drive an hour and a half, they have me fill out 3 pages of information, get back into a room and talk with somebody just for them to say we dont take your insurance.

My first visit with Dr. Robert Hardi was excellent. He is courteous, and listened closely, taking careful notes as I described my recent health issues. He asked good questions and provided informative responses when I had questions of my own. He takes gastrointestinal discomfort and related health issues seriously, and I have a lot of confidence in the approach that he has recommended I pursue. I also want to note that he is very kind and was very thoughtful in response to my broader experiences and history.
His staff are friendly, effective and efficient - a rare combination in an office's medical staff, and I was very grateful for that. The office is relatively minimalist, very clean and tidy, and overall I got a very positive feeling from being there. I finally have some hope that I may have found the right expert to help me address the chronic issues that I've been suffering from for over a decade.

Dr. Hardi's staff members were all friendly and fully prepared for my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill in paperwork, and was promptly seen at my appointment time without any wait time at all. Dr. Hardi was thorough in asking questions to understand my medical history. He had a great bedside manner and was very friendly. I feel good about the course of action he determined and feel good about continuing to see him as my physician. The checkout process with his staff was very straightforward and efficient. I'd recommend Dr. Hardi to others.

I can't say enough awesome things about Dr. Hardi and his wonderful staff! Dr. Hardi makes you feel safe from the initial visit with him. He takes his time to ask the right questions and then provides necessary feedback/instructions as to what needs to be done next (as necessary). I got there on time and had to fill out 5 pages of paper work and wait for 30 minutes. Once inside, they claimed I was 30 min late even though I had been sitting in their lobby the whole time. There were tons of patients and only one person behind the front desk who was obviously really struggling and they should have had at least 2 or 3 people at the front desk. Despite all this paperwork, they filed it away instead of giving it to the doctors and then I had to repeat everything verbally that I had just spent to long writing down. After the appointment was complete, I stood at the front desk for 20 minutes waiting to see if I had a co pay. Will not be back, they are understaffed and everything felt extremely rushed. I could tell they were trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible, not caring how my experience was.
