Dr. Robert Hilliard is a thorough, warm OB-GYN treating patients in the San Antonio and greater Texas areas. He has the distinction of being the first African-American doctor to perform major OB-GYN surgery in San Antonio. He holds certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and speaks both English and Spanish. For his medical degree, Dr. Hilliard attended the University of Texas Medical Branch. He continued his medical education through the University Health System, completing a residency program focused on the study of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Hilliard is now affiliated with the Baptist Medical Center, the Metropolitan Methodist Hospital, and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio. Patients visiting Dr. Hilliard can receive a full range of OB-GYN care. He is available for general consultations, annual examinations, and Pap smear procedures. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Hilliard gets involved in his community through organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, the Claude Bank Center, and the George Gervin Youth Center.
