Dr. Robert J. Klickovich is the President of the Paradigm Pain and Spine Consultants. He is board-certified in Interventional Pain, Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology.
Dr. Klickovich received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also completed a master’s in Social Policy and Aging. He went on to receive a master’s degree in Neurosciences from the University of Oxford, Christ Church College and a Ph.D. in Health Belief Systems (Cultural Thanatology) from the University of Pennsylvania.
Cincinnati Top 50 Doctor Awarded: 2012 2014 and 2015.He attained his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and did an internship in Internal Medicine at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, where he also completed a Fellowship in Pain Medicine.Dr. Klickovich serves as President of the Kentucky Pain Society and Vice-President of the Kentucky Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Regional Anesthesiology, the American Pain Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiology, the International Association for the Study of Pain, the World Institute of Pain, and the Tristate Pain Society.
He has a special interest in interventional modalities of treatment, analgesic pharmacology, complex regional pain syndrome, and cancer pain. He is nationally recognized as a thought leader and educator in neuromodulation for the control of pain syndromes. His other research interests include the interaction of ethnic belief and conventional health system.
