Dr Pomahac is amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The front desk didn’t know about my appointment so I had to wait an extra 30 min. She said she didn’t receive an email from zocdoc., and therefore I went to the walk in list.

Giving everyone a heads up, make sure to call the office right away to confirm your appointment or to make an appointment due to they don’t respond to ZOCDOC emails and that it’s not a guarantee through ZOCDOC (informed by the receptionist). I have no problems going through ZOCDOC to find a doctor, I found two great doctors (M.D. and Dentist) through it. Hopefully Dr. Robert Pomahac will be my new chiropractor. First visit is a consultation (paid $90.00 out of pocket due to the person that checks the insurance left for the day) . I have Blue Cross PPO and it stated on here that he is in network so hopefully he is and I’ll continue seeing him due to he’s nice and he’ll listen attentively to the problems you’re having and explain what the problem might be, then he’ll do an analysis and X-ray through they’re equipment (pretty high tech) and parking is free, just be careful going in and out of the parking due to it’s pretty small to enter and exit (only one car can come in and out, so this is where you have to have patience) and it’s only one way in and out, but at least the parking attendant at that moment was very helpful with finding a parking spot for you in the small garage and he stayed posted. And the place is clean and nice. They even have 10 minute massaging chairs while you’re waiting. Sorry for the long paragraph, just wanted to inform everyone.

Hello, my name is Dr. Rob Pomahac, I am a Wellness Doctor, a Board-Certified Chiropractor and the founder of MaxHealth LA. I started my career as a professional athlete and have had every single injury that you could get. I was told numerous times that I’d have to undergo drastic surgeries that would have left me physically compromised at best and in pain 24/7. I chose not to listen and to seek another way. I’ve now have spent the last 20 years helping thousands of people understand the true causes of why we suffer from pain.

Max Health LA is an integrated medical practice that applies the best of eastern and western medicine to fully understand what’s happening in your body. It’s a whole body approach focused on uncovering a tailored solution specifically for you. We do that with a detailed visual diagnosis, using computer imaging. Essentially, I’m going to uncover the history of your health and map the archeology of you.

Felt pressured into buying their products. When asked if I could take a night to think about the “back” package they were offering, the chiropractor asked why I needed time in a “used car salesman” kind of way. They have great chiropractic devices and techniques to bring you back to health but the whole sales pitch was a bit much.

I believe they do have a lot going on in the office that almost comes off a bit distracting for you and may seem like the DR is distracted too. Friendly office staff, but a lot of overlapping conversations.

Always amazing! Dr. Rob & Dr. Abe are so good, so nice, so experienced, so knowledgeable. I've been to different chiropractor offices in NY & MaxHealth LA is by far the best! It's a great facility with high tech equipment, a fitness/physical therapy room, an X Ray machine etc. The chiropractor assistants are also the best and the massage therapist is sensational. Everyone works so hard & is so professional. The doctors are the best I've ever found & I highly recommend them. My health is so much better because of them.
