Overall pretty good experience. Downside was that it felt like he and his nurse were in a hurry to get through the appointment, and I didn't feel like some of my questions were answered. Upside was that some unexpected issues were handled, and he made an effort to be personable.

Robert M. Septon, M.D., FAAD is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his internship and internal medicine training at Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago. Then he trained in Dermatology at Cook County Hospital, Chicago. He is Board Certified in Dermatology and is a Fellow called the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Septon enjoys all aspects of dermatology: medical, surgical and cosmetic. He treats patients of all ages, from the very young to the elderly. He has excellent skills when he deals with children, as he reduces their fear of the doctor and uses the most pain-free treatments. Dr. Septon cares for many local physicians and their families.
Dr. Septon participates in the educational activities at the University of Illinois Department of dermatology and teaches medical students. He is married and has three children.

Thoughtful and thorough approach to my case

Dr. Septon is a very knowledgable dermatologist. He knows very well what he is doing. The wait time was only about 5 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. The only dislikes was that he did not knock the door before entering, and that he answered a phone call in the middle of my visit.

My wife has visited him before, but this was my 1st appt. Friendly, but professional, staff. Dr. was also friendly & professional - took care of my issue (burned a wart) quickly (very minor discomfort) & provided quick analysis of 2 questionnable skin issues. Would see again, if needed.

I have been seeing Dr Septon since I was a child. Everyone in the office is wonderful. They are always polite and helpfull with any questions I have. I won't see anyone else.

I was sceptical about going because of the reveiws that people had put on his site but decided to take the risk. I should have gone sooner. His staff was great and he explained was he saw and the procedure he was going to do. Great doctor.
