I have been seeing Rochelle Carson for almost two years now, and from day one she has made me feel so safe and comfortable. She has taught me how to properly work through my emotions & use my own strength to navigate the darker, more difficult times. She taught me that everything I need to get through those times has always been within me. She made me feel safe to explore medication & educated me on their ability to help. I am forever grateful to her. I only wish psychiatry treatment was like this for everyone.

Mrs. Rochelle Carson has been and continues to be really wonderful. Within the last year, I have dealt with some major health challenges, and she has been supportive, kind, compassionate, and available. I feel like she knows and understands me and my needs and will make recommendations that are appropriate for me individually.

Rochelle completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Mary Washington College in Virginia, where she worked in inpatient psychiatry and community mental health, while her husband served in the military. She, then, attended graduate school at the prestigious Duke University Physician Assistant (PA) Program on academic scholarship. Following graduation, she began her career in Family Medicine, gaining a wealth of experience working in a community health center.
While working in community health, she helped launch an integrated mental health service to increase access to psychiatric care in underserved areas.
