One of the first fellowship trained interventional pain management physicians in the US. After completing his training at the Baylor College of Medicine, he remained as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Anesthesia and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. DeMeo has trained numerous physicians, lectures nationally, been awarded many research grants, published numerous papers, and continues to conduct leading edge research in the field of spinal surgery.

Wrong address —too far away from Palm Beach (over an hr drive). No info received from ZOCDOC re todays appt at 3 to their office. Rude, unkind, unhelpful receptionist. So I have to suffer in severe pain til I find a dr or another costly hospital visit which I WILL CHARGE TO ZOCDOC!!! Will no longer use ZD since I cannot trust you anymore!!!

My first visit was not bad, but the follow up I had to wait over 2 hours before I met with the doctor to go over my lab results. Once I actually got to see him, my consultation was over in 10 min. Everyone at the office is very friendly and while the doctor knows what he’s talking about, he was very rushed in seeing me and providing any recommendations.

I traveled from northern Broward county to see Dr. DeMeo because he had taken care of me B4 and I appreciated his care. However, we left the house at 10:00AM and didn't get home until after 4PM. It was a long day for someone in pain. I wish he would open an office closer to the Tri County area rather than just Coral Gables. I realize there are 2 sides to his practice but this is a bit much. He could split the 2 kinds of care & spare his pts. in pain this kind of trip. If what I remember of his care hasn't changed it would make the trip worth the day.

There was a mix up. I would never again allow a doctor or his assistant give me an injection without meeting first. This office will not prescribe medication unless you h get an injection. Kind of a Catch22. Certainly not the doctor's fault, though!
