Very pleasant, despite having 3 moles biopsied and an observing nurse-in-training. He was kind, professional, prompt, and thorough - asked me at the end "Do you have any other concerns?" and then answered my questions attentively, without seeming at all hurried.

Never did I doubt my desire to become a physician. From as early as I can remember I grew up watching my father, uncles, brother and sisters helping patients as physicians. As I watched I just knew I wanted to follow in their footsteps. I determined to do whatever it took to be the best physician I could be!
Now many years later I am really enjoying helping patients with all of their skin care needs. Having board certifications in both dermatology and internal medicine along with years of clinical practice in the US and Asia has been very fulfilling. It has given me a unique perspective that allows me to treat all kinds of skin types and conditions with both general medical dermatology or cosmetic surgical procedures. Whether it be removing skin cancer or turning back the clock 5-15 years with our cosmetic treatments, i really enjoy seeing how happy my patients are with their results.

That was the worst experience I've ever had. When I walked in, there was no receptionist at the front desk. Waited about 5 minutes until I was helped. However, the sign in process was quick. Finally when they put me in the room, he had me waiting for about 15-20 minutes. I overheard him in the next room just chatting with another patient. On top of that, the parking at the building was timed. At this point I was frustrated. Finally when I made it known that I haven't been helped, he quickly came out of the other room and came into mine. As for the consultation, it literally took no more than 3 minutes. I waited longer for him in total. He barely even checked my skin and just quickly prescribed the medicine. I felt that he just wanted to be done and go back to the other patient. Even after he had prescribed me the medicine, he quickly went back to the other room and did not even acknowledge me. The receptionist was nice and ended up validating the parking for me. Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Rigor to anyone. I could understand if it was really busy but there was no one else in the waiting room and I came at my scheduled time. I wish I had a better experience but it really was the worst. I recommend better time management and when you're with the patient take your time to explain and not rush. Make the patient feel like you really do care.

This was my first time visiting a dermatologist, and I am happy to say that I had a good experience. My questions were answered quickly (which was good since I had to make it back home quickly to take a midterm). Dr. Rigor was very friendly as was his staff.
In addition to my having my initial concerns acknowledged, I received a mild chemical peel as part of my office visit (and through my insurance). Nice surprise!
