Dr. Russell Peckham comes to U.S. Dermatology Partners after 14 years in the US Army. Most recently, he served as Chief of Dermatology at Fort Hood, Texas, where he provided highly skilled care in general and medical dermatology as well as skin cancer treatment. Board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Peckham has been a practicing physician for over a decade.
Dr. Peckham completed his dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he was selected chief resident. Prior to that, he completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center respectively.
A Fort Worth native, Dr. Peckham did his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth.

Dr Peckham is thorough on his examination and explanations . He has a great ‘bedside manner. ‘ he brings a calmness to the examination room. His PA is very personable and makes you immediately comfortable.
All the office staff out front is lovely and treats you with respect.

My husband and I both had first-time appointments with Dr. Peckham. Dr. Peckham was very good and very thorough, and answered all our questions. We will be using him as our dermatologist going forward. However, didn't like being referred to as "sweetie" and "hon" by the receptionist...a bit condescending.
