I went in for an annual physical. I’m assuming it was maybe just a long morning for him, but Ryan seemed kinda disinterested and monotone, which- ya know, all people operate differently… but I was hoping for a little better bedside manner to put me at ease, both for the physical and to help me feel comfortable to ask questions afterward. I did ask my questions, and he did answer them completely and competently, but I couldn’t shake the feeling like I was wasting his time, which is not what I want to feel when I’m talking with a professional about my health. Again, may just be an isolated incident; I don’t want to crucify anyone for having a bad day, but I was just hoping for a warmer reception I guess. The nurses, front desk staff, etc were all lovely and friendly and answered my questions completely.
