The most incredible doctor, makes me regret that I will only get to visit once a year. Dr. Quintero-Chica is funny, patient, engaging, and knowledgeable. I could not recommend her enough, additionally, she's not pushy with products gives good advice on eyeglasses and sizing and is all around one of the best doctors I've been to.

**We are only in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Please be sure to take a picture of your insurance card upon booking so that you can be under your benefits otherwise it will be a self pay appointment. We ONLY complete full eye exams and contact fits. We DO NOT treat red eyes.** No BC/BS on weekends, No verification available.
On-site eye exams are provided Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. or by appointment. Full eye exams include glaucoma testing, dilation and refractions.
Depending on your vision most adults should have yearly eye exams to prevent damage to your eyes and overall vision. Periodic eye exams can help with early diagnosis of any problems to your vision. Early eye treatment and vision problems are important for maintaining good vision and eye health, and in the long run, preventing vision loss. Dr. Q recommends getting an eye exam once you notice a change in your current vision. Her exams only take half an hour to forty five minutes. Walk-ins are welcome but to be sure call and make an appointment! If the store has a “Be Back” sign up it is because Dr. Q is a one women show and is in the examining room helping another customer, but be sure to come back because the store is open till 6pm!

Dr. Q was amazing! I had gotten lenses a couple of months ago and scratched one and she was super nice and emailed me and told me to make an appointment and took care of me! She's very personable and has funny jokes and a very convenient location!

Getting an eye exam on Newbury St is fun and convenient. Go to Q Optical if you want the best of the street. The exam is amazingly thorough. The Dr is engaging & humorous. The frame selection is unique. The best part, the experience makes you feel like you are appreciated & values as a client.

I get my eyes examined every year. In my 20+ years of exams I have never enjoyed the experience as much as I did at Q Optical. The Dr. is approachable & funny & she treats you like a person not a number. I felt she really enjoyed making sure I could see right! The aded benefit is that the store has cool, edgy, elegant but not trendy frames. I have found my optometrist for my life here in Boston.

Some optical stores are all about the exam and some are all about the frames. Seldom do you find an optical store that excels at both. At Q Optical I received the best eye exam ever. How do you measure that? I was not rushed. Dr. Q made me feel as if I was the most important patient she had to see that day. When the exam was finished. Dr Q recommended frames that were perfect for my face.
