Although I’ve only worked Sabrah Collar for under a month, I already feel that I am in the hands of an extremely knowledgeable and empathetic provider.
I’ve also noticed an increased sense of hope for the potential to recover as well as more confidence in myself to continue to improve. I’m extremely grateful to be a patient of hers, and I highly recommend anyone who is seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to be apart of their recovery to consider pursing treatment with her.

She collaborates with clients through education about various aspects of psychiatric health, including nutrition, physical activity, and relationships. While it is not possible to know your entire story in one, two, or even five sessions, Sabrah seeks to understand and support your journey toward mental health. When indicated, she may recommend medication, but always with a clear explanation of how it acts in the body and brain.
Sabrah's passion has long been treating individuals with co-occurring Substance Use Disorders and psychiatric conditions. She has experience diagnosing and managing medications for PTSD, depression, mood disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, and more.
Her nursing experience spans almost 15 years, including nearly 5 years in psychiatric and mental health nursing. She draws expertise from work in acute care, intensive care, medical detoxification, partial hospitalization, and outpatient practice. Sabrah earned her Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University and began outpatient practice working with clients suffering from Substance Use Disorders. Throughout her career, she has served in both unofficial leadership roles and as a nursing manager.
Work-life balance is vital to Sabrah. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes a 100-pound German Shepherd. She loves nature and enjoys backpacking, camping, and mountain biking.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Sabrah Jean Collar. She is patient, listens and comes to the table with a game plan that is truly the best for the patient. Sabrah is a fantastic mental health medicine provider. She knows everything that is available off the top of her head, and she always listens to me as far as how certain medication affected me, and she makes changes accordingly. She is also just great to talk too, so kindand caring. I wish she could be my therpist too!
