Getting to know Nataly Najarro

Hello, I’m Nataly. My approach to therapy is humanistic and community-based, grounded in a decolonial, liberation-focused framework. I work collaboratively in ways that honor each person’s lived experience, cultural context, and wisdom. I am Latiné, nonbinary, disabled, neurodivergent, and an artist, writer, and storyteller. I weave my intersectional identities, lived experiences, and knowledge into my practice to offer heart-centered, connected, and affirming care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I integrate somatic and body-based therapies, family systems and relational therapy, narrative therapy, liberation and feminist psychology, and ancestral and lineage-informed healing practices. Therapy sessions are tailored to each client’s needs, with intention and consent. I walk with the client in their healing journey with compassion, curiosity, and care rather than judgment. I strive to create a space that fosters meaning-making, affirms client sovereignty, and supports healing beyond pathologizing frameworks. I specialize in working with individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as those navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, mood-related concerns, emotional regulation, and identity exploration. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I offer holistic care that is flexible, accommodating, affirming, and responsive to each client's unique experiences and background.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a therapist, I value transparency, integrity, and accountability. I am committed to ongoing self-reflection, anti-racist practice, and cultural humility, and I continuously examine my own biases as part of ethical and responsible care. My goal is to offer an empathetic, affirming presence that empowers clients to heal and grow in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.
