The wait time is horrendous. My appointment was 10:45. She saw me at 12:20.
There was one gentleman at the front desk who was extremely rude. He snapped at me and rolled his eyes. The young women were nice and efficient and helpful.

Dr. Tavassoli was great, but I had a very frustrating experience with the front desk. They never checked their Zocdoc bookings and as a result gave away my time slot, which I had rightfully reserved via Zocdoc, to someone else. Rather than admit their technological fault, they tried to get me to wait in the office for "up to 4 hours and and probably at least 2 hours" for a chance to be seen. After explaining my situation to the receptionist repeatedly (who did not know what Zocdoc was and did not know how to even view or confirm Zocdoc bookings), and showing her my online confirmation, she finally agreed to squeeze me in. It's very frustrating that had I not been so firm with the front desk they would have made me wait 4 hours for an issue they were at fault for. The office should not be allowed to integrate with Zocdoc if they do not honor appointments made through this portal.

Dr. Sara Tavassoli received her medical degree and fellowship training in Radiation Oncology in Iran. Following her fellowship, she was an associate professor of Oncology from 1997-2001. When she immigrated to the United States, she was inspired by her optometrist to pursue a career in optometry. Dr. Tavassoli earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the New England college of Optometry in Boston in 2005, where she was awarded the William R. Baldwin Scholastic Achievement Award and membership into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
She is licensed in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic agents for treating various ocular diseases. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and Maryland Board of Examiners in Optometry. She has been chosen by Consumer’s Research Council of America one of America’s top optometrists in 2013.
Dr. Tavassoli’s skills include providing comprehensive eye examinations, single-vision and multifocal contact lens fittings, specialty contact lens fitting ,pre- and post-operative care for various ocular surgeries , diabetic eye examinations , management of ocular emergencies, and co-management of glaucoma.

From the people at the front desk to the techs, everyone was super rude. I was there for a routine eye exam and they tried to give me a full medical exam. Then continued 4 times to pressure me into having one done because it's more expensive. Never going back.

The actual doctor was great but the environment and everyone else was Terrible. I was there for over 2 hours and I didn't even get to pick out a new pair of glasses because I had to get home. I don't recommend this location unless you have the 3 hours to dedicate to it.

Best eye doctor I've ever been to ! Ever thorough , and detail oriented . She examined my eyes and fixed everything!!! I recommend this office to everyone, and as soon as my appointment was over I made sure to book another one in 6 months as well as my mother and brother .

I have seen Dr. Tavassoli since I was 20 years old for almost 9 years now. She has been a guardian of my eye health and keeps my quality of life up to par by constantly being vigilant of my fluctuating eye sight. She has been very accommodating about my eye health needs and I would not trade her with any other eye doctor. It is rare and nice to have a personal history with a doctor like Dr. Tavassoli. It is always exciting to be able to see in High Definition again after my eye sight shifted due to medical problems. I am thankful I have a doctor like Dr. Tavassoli who has been been very patient with my fluctuating vision and making me feel encouraged and good about progress I make with my health and my personal life.

Wonderful office, but the wait time was agony. Came in at my scheduled time, 10:3, and wasn't seen until after 11:00. Was taken to the room by an assistant, and then left to wait for the doctor for another hour. Didn't actually leave until roughly two and half hours after I came in. Was prescribed glasses as well, though didn't get to choose any frames which is strange.

It was horrible !! NEVER will I step one foot in that place again !!Where to start....I don't even know...it took almost 40 minutes to even be seen and that's because I wanted to ask how much longer will it be since I have already waited almost 40 minutes for the appointment I had made...And I must say I was not impressed with Dr Sarah !!let's just say No Real doctors there on board....There was a whole staff of overpaid people ....That gave no service/Crapy if at best....This is what happens when you try to pick a place from the internet and not from word of mouth...they are very stuck up ...They are a total disgrace to their field of work !!! Sad to say but No professionals in that office.. Won't EVER return !

It was great. I was actually running late because i had my sitter cancel on me last minute and had to drive my son elsewhere. I called to inform them and maybe reschedule, but they fit me into the schedule. The staff was very helpful. And the doctor was very nice. I've been there with both of my parents but never for myself, and it was the experience with them that convinced me to go there. They are always nice and helpful and always answer any and all questions that we may have. I have already recommended them to other members of our family and friends.

I had a very good experience with only a few minor complaints.
The office didn't seem to receive the forms I filled out on Zocdoc so I had to fill them out again in the office. I also had to wait quite a while between when the optometrist finished her assessment and the ophthalmologist began hers. That was fine but an indication of how long it would be would have been appreciated. Everyone was very professional and helpful and seemed to know their job very well.
