Dr. Stackpole is an experienced otolaryngologist, as well as a trained singer and acupuncturist. She is a graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her otolaryngology training at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, where she was the director of the Laryngology clinic. A Juilliard-trained classical singer, Dr. Stackpole has cared for many voice professionals: Broadway and opera singers, voice teachers, and professional speakers. She has worked with many performers, bringing her knowledge of the demands of active performance to the patient’s individual care. She has lectured to voice classes at Manhattan School of Music and Mannes School of Music. She also continues to perform as a choral singer.
Dr. Stackpole has a long-standing interest in holistic healthcare. She obtained her acupuncture certification at Tri-State College of Acupuncture, where she joined the faculty. Using both her medical diagnostic skills and an integrative approach to health, Dr. Stackpole treats a wide variety of conditions. She is specially trained in Western acupuncture techniques, including trigger point release. She draws on her acupuncture training to augment the care of her patients.
Dr. Stackpole focuses on diagnosing the patient’s condition, and how it impacts the quality of life.
Over the past 25 years, she has helped many patients clarify complex diagnoses, and achieve better health through teamwork and thoughtful selections in planning individual care.

Dr. Stackpole was exactly what I needed. I am a performer and vocalist who has dealt with a decent amount of vocal heath issues in the past, creating an extreme amount of anxiety for me around the topic. I felt very heard and understood by her, and the precise knowledge Dr. Stackpole had in regards to not just vocal health, but that of a female singer was extremely comforting and helpful for me moving forward. I would recommend her to any performer who is struggling with needing precise information, to a mere vocal chord checkup. I had a wonderful experience and will be using her for all of my future voice needs.

I have seen Dr Stackpole before and she was excellent and very knowledgeable, but my appointment was never confirmed. I know they are busy. Dr S and D L are the only ENT doctor I go to. Maybe they can remove themselves from Zocdoc.

Dr. Stackpole is a rare gem. She explains everything and is so nice. You can tell she really cares. She had a game plan to get me back to 100% and she did. The staff is extremely lovely as well from the receptionists to the technicians/nurses. I highly recommend.

This office poorly manages their appointment schedule. I had to wait 45 minutes at which point I had to leave. When I was on my way out the doctor acted like "oh, I'm ready now." She was pretty rude and validated herself by telling me she hadn't used the bathroom since 8AM. At that time it was 1:45PM. As in any profession, professionalism and punctuality is appreciated. If I'm paying to see a specialist I think it's also important that the doctor show some care, not just shout at me from down the hall telling me she just needs to look in my ear and prescribe some antibiotics. If you are looking for someone who cares, don't go here.
