It was an pleasure being treated by Dr. Yung!!! He was very caring, efficient and thorough!! He answered all my concerns and was very professional. Highly recommended!!
Dr Yung is extremely thorough and very nice. He explained everything to me and answered all my concerns. Higzhky recommended!!!
Dr. Yung was very efficient and gave solutions to my complaints immediately. I also appreciated that he suggested I get a hearing test done on the same day as my visit (although I was only in for a cleaning). Thanks!
Went in for ear wax removal. Removal process was painless. 10/10 would recommend.
The specialist doesn't listen to patient's history and jump the gun and entered his computer chart with some symptoms not related. Without listening to patient about the history of symptoms, he jut went over all equipments to experiment to bill to the insurance. That is why American healthy system and political system are so corrupted. American needs reworked from button to up. And from inside out. All Glory to God! God bless American! Almighty!
Precise, efficiently-quick, and clear about symptoms and how they're produced.
Dr. Yung was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Will be adding him into my regular checkup cycle!
Very professional and friendly! The office is a little hectic, crowded and cramped but doesn't take away from Dr. Yung's professionalism and knowledge.
Dr. Yung saw me very soon after I arrived. He examined me and explained everything clearly to me. He asked me if there was anything else I wanted to discuss with him. The appointment was a quick one, but it didn't feel rushed at all.
He was friendly, asked a lot of questions and made me feel reassured. I've never been to an ENT before, so I felt curious about my ear health and if I needed my earwax cleaned. Personally, I would have liked if he spent more time explaining things, because I don't know much about ear health in general, but nonetheless I felt like I was in good hands and I trust his diagnoses. (I also didn't have any problems, so there probably wasn't much to explain! I'm just a curious person.) The audiologist- Dr. Guo- was also very friendly. Like Dr. Yung, she moves through the visit very quickly and I didn't feel like I learned a ton about how ears work, but she still covered all the necessary points, listened to me, and reassured me completely. I don't need to go back to the ENT after this checkup, but if I did I would be happy to visit Dr. Yung again.
The Doctor was compassionate, friendly and professional and helped my daughter with her clogged ear with his expertise.
This was one of my worst experiences at a doctors office. First, they charge you your deductible and tell you you'll be refunded once the insurance pays. I spent months trying to get a clear answer from someone, my insurance had paid, and I was transferred from person to person to a rude and incompetent billing department. The office is unclean, and the attendants unprofessional. I would recommend looking elsewhere and avoid the headache.
He saved my life!
Doctor is really nice and helpful. He explained my problem patiently and told me the costs in advance. But I have been waiting for more than an hour in the waiting room......even though I had an appointment.
Dr. Yung was great. My right ear felt like it was on pins and needles and in a matter of minutes he got an accurate assessment of what was going on, checked my ears, nose and throat... And determined it was my headphones that were most likely the culprit. Very personable and professional, would definitely go back (with a real problem this time.)
He was so fast and super informative. Cleared out my ear wax within a minute and was comprehensive enough to have me do an ear exam. Highly recommend him!
Dr. Raymond Yung asked my symptoms then examined me then examined me thoroughly. I highly recommend using this doctor.
Dr. Yung and staff are attentive, prompt, and informative.
I was appreciative of the monitor to watch as I experienced the endoscopy. Uncomfortable but I no way as painful as I had anticipated. He showed me the model of the ear and explained some things. I did notice that my patient history incorrectly stated I had no family history of hearing loss.
Strongly recommend Dr Yung. I'm a nerve racking person when it comes down to seeing a doctor but he explained the process very clearly and calming. Reception desk was very nice and took me just a few minutes to fill out paperwork.
Very lousy doctor.
Very pleasant office staff and Dr Yung was excellent
Dr. Yung was prompt, professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to those needing attention to their ears.
I thought the doctor was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. He also was very professional and confident. I would recommend Dr Raymond Yung to my family and friends.
Dr. Yung was great-and the staff treated me with such care! It was a quick and easy appt, and the doc was very thorough. Office was super clean and calming-I highly reccomend Dr. Yung!
Very efficient staff! And the doctor is very friendly and professional.
He gave me medications and my next appointment is after 7 days. So after a week I will write a feedback.
Dr. Yung has excellent bedside manners. I felt as if he cared about my wellbeing and would strongly recommend him.
First time on ZocDoc I had a Doctor take the appointment on time.
Everyone in the office was professional and friendly. Waiting room clean with sufficient chairs, once taken to the exam room the medical assistant was efficient in entering information into the EMR. I waited very little from the time the M. A. took my information and Dr. Yung entered the room. He was friendly, professional just enough conversation as he examine my ear, he was PERFECT! I left satisfied and able to hear better.....I had tons of waxed lodged in my canal.
Dr. Yung is the greatest. I'm a patient and today I took my daughter there for the 1st time. She was terrified, crying and made it difficult for him to continue but he was very patient. He's very knowledgable and always solve my issues.
Waited to see the doctor in the exame room for 30 minutes, then he came in and rush me out didn't want to listen to me, i wanted to remove my tonsil, because i cant' deal with this infection , He said i couldn't because i would die of hemorrhage. He prescribed me some antibiotic. All in less then 5 minutes.
I was very satisfied with my visit
Dr. Raymond Yung. was really nice and patient. He asked a few questions and attacked the issues head-on. I had a ear problem that was fixed within minutes. I will definitely recommend him to my friends. Waiting time was a bit too long - since it was during my lunch break I wanted to get in and get out since I had only an hour for lunch. But he was very quick and answered all my questions, which made up for the long wait. I left with a smile and brand new. Thank you Dr. Yung!
I traveled from Long Island to his Manhattan location. Been to a few ENT's, he's the best. Very knowledgeable. My second time seeing him and I'm very satisfied. Office extremely clean.
Small room, crowded and loud
After a short wait I was given a thorough examination resulting in a prescription to address the issues. Office was nice and seemed up to date with technology.
Wait time was extremely long. Doctor was vague in explaining the reasons for my ear pain and seemed to be not sympathetic. Receptionists were quite rude.
I don't usually post feedback, but I would feel so guilty if I didn't write a positive post for Dr. Yung and his staff. 5 Stars! Excellent all around. Dr. Yung was extremely competent! Highly recommend.
What can I say, Dr. Yung was phenomenal. He went above and beyond to help me with my issue and the staff was courteous and completely professional. Highly recommend.
Fast.perfect. friendly staff. Clean office. Knowledgeable dr. Answers all questions. No wait time. Takes medicade. Explains results easily. Perfect Dr ever
Fast service. Good doctor. Recommend :)
Dr. Raymond was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about my condition. He made an effort to listen to my concerns and also addressed all my questions. The wait time was surprisingly very short. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
Wait time is horrible. They overbook. There are at least 30 people waiting at the office. My appointment and the time doctor saw me was at least 2 hours. Will never go back to this office!
Dr Yung was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
Highly recommended. This was my first visit with Dr. Young and it surpassed all my expectations. Exactly on time, very kind, patient and friendly. I walked in anxious, and walked out confident.
Very professional and knows his stuff. I'd highly recommend.
Very thorough. Made me feel comfortable and walked out knowing I was taken care of.
Overall good experience.
Staff didn't record/understand my medical history which was vital to the eventual diagnosis (eventually at another doctor who believed my complaints). Dr. Yung wasn't concerned with symptoms and told me to wait another month. It was probably too challenging a case, but I wouldn't go back.
They were very respectful and kind.
Dr. Raymond Yung is great! He was very efficient and kind.
Wait time was reasonable and the Doctor was very patient and took his time to answer in detail all my concerns. Fully recommended.
He was funny and personable and very knowledgable as well. Would def go back.
When I arrived I checked in with the front desk only waited 15 minutes after my appt time to get seated with doctor Raymond. The facility was nice and clean. My only issue was how fast he checked me out and my appt was over. The doctor didn't make me feel comfortable or run any test. I was advised I have severe allergies and was given a prescription. I wanted to know what I am allergic to, a allergy test would have been great. Yet it wasn't given or scheduled. He told me to come back in three months for a check up? I don't understand why I would come back when nothing was performed, its obvious I have severe allergies. I want to know what is causing them to get inflamed. He wasn't helpful.
Dr. Yung was extremely knowledgeable, effective and quick. I definitely recommend him.
Excellent doctor who knew what he was talking about unlike a previous doctor I saw two weeks ago for the same condition
rushed, poor evaluation, poor collection of data about health history, assistant seems inexperienced
I thought he was very helpful. The office was very neat and clean
Effective, fast and to the point.
Really nice, clean office. Everyone in the office was polite and accommodating. Wait was a little longer than usual, but it was really busy in the office that day so I'm not sure if it's normal. Overall great place, I would definitely recommend it.
Office was clean, staff efficient and doctor was kind.
I am not sure that either Doctor in the room knew what they were talking about. I also mentioned I had health issues and could not take certain antibiotics and he wanted to give them to me anyways? The wait waa over 45 minutes long and NOT a single person at the front desk spoke English or knew what I was saying. They also messed up my prescriptions.
the wait will definitely be an issue but the nurses and dr Yung are pretty nice and attentive.
Dr. Yung seemed distracted and disinterested from the first moment I finally got in to see him after waiting for more than an hour. He was quick and somewhat dismissive of my issue and I never felt fully heard. I understand he was trying to be efficient with time but that shouldn't come at the expense of the patient.
My initial visit with Dr. Yung was wonderful. He was informative and thoughtful. However, his staff seemed to be unorganized and failed to tell me all the information needed when setting up my allergy treatment, such as my co-pay would apply for every shot given rather than just once a year. Additionally, when I had to reschedule my first shot due to a miscommunication, they failed to update their automatic reminder so I got text and phone calls for an appointment that was never there.
however, reception reported that he had had a long surgery in the morning that caused the delay. he and his staff were amazing. highly recommended
Staff is professional and competent and Dr. Yung is great. It's likely a testament to his skill that the waiting room time is so long - everyone wants to see him! But during the weekday such a wait is unacceptable, no matter what time of day.
Raymond is a highly intelligent and knowledgeable doctor. However, I felt that my visit was rushed. I waited 40 mins to see him and only got to speak to him for 3 mins, max!
My visit was excellent everyone was so professional
Dr. Yung was very approachable and friendly, ready and willing to patiently answer all my questions.
Attended to very quickly. Front desk staff were very nice and so was the doc.
Great doctor however it took a while to meet the technician. Furthermore, the place is very oriented towards Chinese speakers so it might be awkward if you don't speak Chinese however, they all speak fluent English so don't be afraid!
He's awful. He lied to me about his rate, said my insurance would cover surgery when it wouldn't! He made me make multiple unnecessary appointments just to refill prescriptions. He canceled two appointment in a row, the day of the appointments, when I'd already taken time off work. Eventually I had to start all over with a new doctor. I would never recommend this quack to anyone! Beware!
I had to wait about 50 minutes before the doctor came to see me. Besides that, the clinic was clean, staff was nice.
I made an appointment for 3pm, so I arrived at 2:30 to fill in paperwork. I did not leave this place until 5pm. The wait time is ridiculous!! They probably spent less than half an hour on me, the rest was just pure waiting time. The staff there aren't exactly friendly either, the doctors doesn't seem knowledgeable. Would not recommend this place... I wouldn't have came myself if it wasn't because my doctor referred me here. Try and get your doctor to refer you somewhere else. This place is just a waste of time.
Clean professional office. I was able to be seen quickly. The doctors were professional and overall I would highly recommend and return for visits.
Typically there's a wait as there are several doctors that work in this office. Everyone is always super nice though and they definitely know their stuff. I've since moved from that part of the city but would certainly go back if I was in the area.
It was okay but the line was very long.
Great! Fast & Easy. Will definitely return if needed.
Professional, courteous, charming, straightforward, experienced, and talented. A delight.
His staff was friendly and efficient and he was very warm and professional at the same time. Liked him very much.
The actual consultation with Dr. Yung was great. He was professional, friendly and insightful. But the wait time for this office was ridiculous -- I would not recommend visiting during your lunch hour. The reception area was loud and hectic, and none out of the four receptionists explained the wait time despite it being over an hour. They even made me pay for my visit prior to seeing the doctor.
I have vertigo so therefore I know I was going in to discuss about it. The doctor is my 2nd opinion. He didn't prescribe me anything yet because he wants me to do exams before he determines what I have. The staff all are Asians, it is in Chinatown but they are all nice and speak good English. The office looks new and clean. I don't know what to rate the doctor yet! I have to finish another exam
All good except waiting time
Good expertise and fast!
He is my favorite ENT doctor in New York.
The visit was very BAD,its not a professional ENT DOCTOR, took him less then 5 minutes to see me,he didnt explain what will he do to me then just do it, however i filled on a application online the receptionist told me she cant print it out -.-!!!
MD Yung was very nice and professional. He explained what was going on with me and helped made me feel comfortable. I went to 2 ENT doctors before him and he was the only one who gave me a 2 week follow up and said if that ( antibiotics) doesn't work , well see what else we can do. He really was helpful and actually wanted to helpful . That alone made me feel better.
It was awful experience! He walked in a hurry. I told him I had an ear pain and headache. He checked my ear and sent me for hearing test. After the test I waited for more than one hour at his office for him to come back again. He finally came in, but did not mention anything about my test. He then said he need to check my nose and will put a nail scanner down into it to see it. I asked him if it is necessary to check my nose. He answered:" if you walk out from this door without checking it, I am not responsible for your problem. If you have brain cancer I need to check it to find it out!!!!!" I was so so shocked at that moment! So, you tell me should I go back to see him again ??!!
WAS NOT PLEASE. DID ALL TEST BUT NO SOLUTION WAS SUGESTED EXCEPT GAVE ME NOSE DROPS
The office was great .
A waste of time??
nice attentive, took care of the problem right away....thank you
The office was packed and the wait time wasn't ideal. Doctor was kind. The nurse was as well.
Doctor is excellent, very professional and efficient. Staff are also very helpful and clear in what they are doing, everything is bilingual in english and mandarin. However, as others have noted, the wait time is unacceptable. I arrived 10mins before my appointment time and was told it would be an hour until I was seen, when I asked why the wait given I had an appointment I was told simply there is people who arrived before me. This defeats the concept of making appointments and makes it very difficult to keep to a schedule or go during work.
Although, I waited to see the doctor for 40 minutes, he was very nice and helpful. I liked him.
Extremely professional office. Short wait times. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The doctor and the assistants took their time in explaining the problems and answering my questions. I highly recommend going here. Everyone in the office speaks English, you don't need to speak Chinese to go here.
The doctor was amazing, but the staff was poor. It took them over an hour to discuss copays for various procedures, without even discussing with me the reason for my visit.
Did not diagnose me at all still in pain such a waste of time.
Very good. My old nose, ear, and throat doctor was terrible. Dr.Raymond knew what he was doing and as soon as I walked out my sinuses were clear. We'll see what happens on the follow up.
I thought the doctor was very thorough, and took the time to explain my condition to me in detail. I would certainly recommend him. I waited a little, but it wasn't egregious, and there was a pharmacy right in the building which was very convenient and saved me time to track one down after my appointment ...
Very clean office and professional staff. Dr. Yung was very thorough!
Excellent Dr. Smart, Professional & friendly.
What I liked about this Dr's office is that they throughly explained my insurance coverage before the treatment so I was fully informed as to what is not covered, which many doctors' office do not.
The doctor and the staffs are very friendly. However, the wait is just too long. Every step of the visit requires over an hour wait. I waited for about 2 hours to see the doctor, another hour to have my ear tested, than almost another hour to have a staff to explain the test result.
His explanation was very clear just like the first time. I like his way in terms of not trying to giving me a lot of medicines but only when it is really necessary.
Long wait, dirty office and a bad listener! Offered me surgery right of the batt.
Although the office is in China Town, everyone spoke English and is super friendly! I was seen right on time as well! The office is very modern and the front staff was very pleasant walking in. They explained everything they were about to do before testing my hearing/ear canal.
I was very happy to see Dr. Yung, he was very patient and listened to me very carefully.
Short wait time, very friendly, and very knowledged.
Very professional and informative. Helped resolve my issue (nose bleeding). The clinic can get busy however and wait times may be long (first come first serve basis).
The doctor was thorough in his examination, and I felt better in the amount of time he predicted.
I was very happy with my visit. I had made the appointment that day as I had lost my voice for no reason apparent to me. I waited around 10 mins, which is a record for me- especially since the waiting room was fairly full. Met with his assistant to give her some information. I waited 5 mins do Doctor Yung. He was very friendly, courteous, and understanding. He looked in my throat, ears and nose. Then stuck some sort of apparatus up my nose which was awful but he made me as comfortable as I could be. Diagnosed me with an acute sinus infection and laryngitis and wrote my scripts. I was in and out in less than 40 mins. I would definitely recommend Doctor Yung.
Terrible experience, really cant recommend.waited for an hour to be called, the nurse conducted interview and i was told to wait some more.15mins later nurse apologizes for delay has me do tests first.very unprofessional tech conducting tests, middle ear analyzer done for 5mins but was too busy chatting with pregnant co worker to notice, that the continuous buzzing sound induced a headache.another test conducted, enter one of the receptionist and they chat some more again not noticing that my test was done.i decided to start recording convo to present to doc to complain but i think they noticed and tech led me to sound proof test room and told to wait.after 2-3mins tech finally performs third and last test.led to another exam room told to wait AGAIN and waited for another 5mins for actual doc to show up.only saving grace is doc yung who was very professional and nice,1 receptionist and 2 of the nurses who apologized and thanked me for the wait.theyre the only reason i gave 2.but think abt it,i arrived at 3 for 320 appt only seen at 420 and left at 537.
This place is in the heart of Chinatown, so expect a Chinese-first experience. That's not a criticism, just something you should know before visiting.
Wonderful, caring, attentive doctor.Lots of people in the waiting room but when he sees you, he doesn't rush you out. Would recommend him to anyone!
The visit was hardly 5 minutes and his patient doctor relationship out of 1-10 scale is 2. He didn't explain why he's ordering a certain test and left the room with a very vague answer. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
Always go here for my ears. Excellent doctor!
Was very rushed. I felt Dr. Yung was only in there for several minutes and he didn't even look at my eye. Only asked me what color was the discharge before he said I had pink eye. He also prescribed a very expensive eye medication and there must be cheaper, generic drugs that can also treat this. My other specialist didn't think I had pink eye and also verified what my insurance covered before prescribing a covered medication.
It was a great visit I was in and out in less then 15 minutes. Amedeo
Nothing to complain about. Nice office and nice people working there.
The waiting room was a little hectic but the staff was great, especially the physician's assistant and the doctor.
Horrible Experience. He rushed, kept changing what he would say. His attitude was not pleasant at all. It felt as if we were bothering him. He was not welcoming at all. He was not secure with what his opinion on my son's case was, he kept contradicting what he said. Would not recommend him to anyone. Searching for a better ENT than him for a second opinion.
I thought he did not want me as a patient. When I told him the problem about repeated colds. He told me several times that I should go to an allergist. He rushed me out of the office and gave me three RXs, only one of which my medical insurance company would fill. He put a contraption in my nose and told me I didn't have polyps or an infection, neither of which did I complain of. The visit lasted all of 3 minutes tops. I will never return. I was made to feel extremely unwelcome.
Dr. Yung and his staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. My treatment was efficient, effective and I was immediately put at ease. Having not had treatment by an ENT before, Dr. Yung and the staff listened and acknowledged my contributions to my case, and paid attention to details with regard my concerns. I would recommend Dr. Yung to anyone seeking excellent treatment in this field.
Made me feel at ease! Answered all my questions! Very professional!
Great doctor. Very efficient.
I had a fishbone stuck in my throat and went to the ER, 4 hours later they said they couldn't see or find it. I saw Dr. Yung the next day and he picked it out immediately :)
Dr. Yung was rather attentive and understanding, but seemed very rushed, which felt a bit uncomfortable. He was in and out within 3-5 minutes, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your situation. In my case, it worked great.
Wait time was crucial. Maybe, they need to notify the staff to know who comes in as a patient and what is their situation- even though we notified the patient is in a lot of pain, took more than 1 hr to have patient be seeing by the doctor.
He was friendly and professional
doing well, i should have asked him for sign language interperter in case future deaf patient needs his service.
He was professional and was able to diagnose me quickly. I did need to ask questions to get full answers, like possible side effects to the commonly-prescribed medications.
Facilities are exquisite. Really beautiful and modern. Maybe he was just a little too busy that day. His PA was phenomenal though!
wonderful dr and staff!!
I waited to be seen for an hour and then when the doctor finally came in, he spend 5 minutes with me. I came in with a terrible ear pain but he said he didn't see anything wrong and just gave me some antibiotics. I was still in pain after the fact and had to go see another doctor.
This place doesn't really take appointment; be ready to wait. But if you feel really uncomfortable and don't want to go to ER, you can come here to wait in the line. Since there are lots of patients waiting, don't expect to see the doctor for more than a couple minutes. Thus you may have the impression that no one here is patient to their patients.
The office staff was freindly and courteous in a very clean and professional setting. We loved Dr. Yung! He was engaging and his concern for my son seemed very genuine despite us being a first time patient! I would definitely recommend him! Thank you Dr. Yung
It was good and quick
I thought it was great i made the appointment 2 hrs prior to the visit. When i got there i fill out paper work and they called me in. I will be going back.
I was impressed by Dr. Yung's throughness. His PA as well as the doctor asked all the right questions to determine treatment. I'm looking forward to my next office visit and an audiology test. Saves me from going on another appointment somewhere else. I'm very happy I found him...and I'm optimistic I'm going to get well for good.
had one appt supposed to call back never did
Dr Yung is a great guy.
Dr. Yung was very attentive and interested in my medical history. I have a complicated history of sinus problems and surgery, and he really took everything into account during my appointment and seemed eager to begin working with and tracking me to better treat my condition. This is much more than I can say for my previous doctors. He also had a great way of explaining things clearly and making sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about his observations and recommendations. I am very glad I found Dr. Yung.
He was very personable and efficient. I didn't feel like he was rushing me out of the door, but he wasn't dilly dallying either. He gave the information I needed in a straight forward manner and cracked a joke or two.
I think Dr. Raymond Yung is a great ENT. The one thing I was worried about was the wait time and there was none. He was a great doctor and I will go to him if I ever have a problem with my ears.
extremely intelligent and nice guy
Excellent staff..very good MD.
He seemed a little rude because I took my daughter in with me and when she got up to sit on the chair, he came in and told her to stop moving the chair because she will break it. He could have asked her in a nicer way but didn't. He also wanted to charge me an additional $100 for a hearing exam when they are free at other offices.
Dr. Yung was very efficient. He was very precise and clear and explained his diagnosis well.
The doctor didn't really listen to the problems I was having with my ears, cleaned them, told me I was fine and hustled me out the door. I had to visit another Ear Nose and Throat doctor who listened more carefully and gave me options and advice on how to improve my condition.
Excellent end friendly staff, very good Doctor
Dr. Yung himself was very courteous and professional. The wait was a bit on the long side, but that may be because it was my first appointment, and Dr. Yung apologized for the wait, saying they were particularly busy that day. The waiting room is large, bright, and clean.
I made the appt at 8am for 4:15 that afternoon. The waiting room was nice. The administration staff were nice and attentive. I had practically no wait time. The dr was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It was clear from the start that he knew his stuff. I will definitely make Dr. Yung my permanent ENT doctor now.
Courteous and professional staff. Doctor listened and didn't talk over me. Told me what I needed to hear for my own good. Thorough and to the point.
Went in to get ear wax cleared in both ears. He cleared one and said he sort of did the other one. 30 minutes later the sort of ear was back to being clogged. Waste of time if you have more than one problem. Also was overbooked so it took over an hour to see the doc.
Waited for 40 mins. Not too bad but the place is very crowded and small. Saw the doctor, then he told me to wait for hearing exam. Then they somehow forgot about me sitting right in front of them, and I ended up being the last person out of there. The doctor actually left, and just told his colleague (female doctor) which I ended up seeing. She was nice and patient. Staff not the best.
good doctor,terrible waiting area
Very efficient and professional team. They ask the right question and take the right and necessary steps.
Great doctor - but the wait was a bit too long!
