The first appointment with Dr Naryan I drove from Richardson to Greenville. The wait was less than I was told, and I was fit in for that day. Very impressed with the doctor, have never had a psychiatrist spend the needed time for my special circumstances. Continued to go to him once a month in the Plano office he shared with a Pain Management Doctor, and the wait could last a couple hours. One appointment I was the last patient seen, and was forgotten about. Thank God Dr Narayan checked all the patient rooms! He was shocked I was in there still waiting for him. My appt was for 4:30, and he "found" me at 7:05! I was upset at the time, but got over it because I still go to him. I should clarify my last statement, I see his wife, Dr Satish, now. She takes care of medication maintanence, and has taken excellent care of me and my needs!! The wait tends to be less if you are willing to see her instead of Dr Narayan. Only complaint is the office they had in Carrollton did not have a phone to reach anyone in that office! Getting a message to anyone while in Carrollton was impossible. Love the new office, but haven't looked to see if there is a contact phone number inoffice yet.
My first 2 visits were with him because he is a psychiatrist & then was turned over to his wife, who is an MD. Both are very professional & have helped me. Their approach is to get your body what it needs by monitoring your blood & to help get all levels within proper parameters.

Was not the typical visit at this office. They were short staffed. Usually I am seen pretty quickly within 30 minutes.
Dr Narayan and his staff were wonderful to me and my daughter. Very grateful to have found such a professional doctor.
Dr. Narayan was extremely kind and very professional. I felt at ease and very comfortable. The staff was wonderful!
Think he already had plan of action before he heard background info. Nice guy, but office area was not welcoming.
I was confortable in the waiting area and the examination room. The roostroom was clean and had soap and paper.
New office was quick ..nicer office and as always good bed side ..and Earnest sp ? Is fantastic w drawing blood
He understood what was all wrong with me once i told him about my behavior and is willinh to start something new
He was very polite .... treated me as if i was not just another patient... but treated me with genuine concern.
He has A great personality and he is not afraid to give you what you need to help you with your troubles.
He was polite, responsive and knowledgable. It was an overall great experience. I will recommend him.
1st few visits ok now seems like they are overbooked and dont take the time and waits are lengthy
I liked Dr. Narayan but the office seemed run down, messy, unorganized, cold and uncomfortable.
Dr. Narayan is phenomenal. Caring and compassionate and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I had a very productive meeting with him and look forward to a rewarding relationship!
Staff is polite and professional. Wait time was minimal. Doctor Narayan is the best.
I loved it. I felt comfortable and he was very thorough and easy to talk to.
Really easy to talk to. Wait time wasn't bad, but waiting area felt cramped
Very happy so far. He listened and I think he is going to help me.
very thorough assessment and treatment plan started and explained.
I also like his staff, there so friendly and always proffesional!
This man is the Doctor I wish I would have found 20 years ago !
Great doctor and courteous staff. Would definitely recommend!!!
Took over an hour just to wait every visit for over a year.
Good visit, except they didn't know we had an appointment.
He was very nice and I was relaxed and he helped a lot
He is great but the office is extremely unorganized
Long wait. Very willing to prescribe all sorts of different meds, no awareness of cost of certain medications. Recommends strongly a facility in Greenville if hospitalization needed which he may have a financial interest in w/o regard to hardship on family.
Love him!!...and love his wife who I also see

Had to wait 2 hours to see doc!
Dr Narayan and his NP are great! It's the staff that you must encounter, especially by phone, that's another story....Another surprise charge: Preautherization for your medications will cost $50. The staff is uncaring and matter-of-fact about urgent matters. It's been 2 weeks since my son was seen and he still waits for this office to call the insurance company about pre-authorizing his ADHD medication even after I informed the office on several occasions that he was running low on his medications. Now, 2 weeks after his medication management appointment, he has no medication left to take on school days. I'm very disappointed with the staff's "oh, well" attitude.

He is a gifted psychiatrist!
Excellent!! Great bedside manner, takes time to listen to your problems and also understands true mental illness that is hereditary.
Professional, Courteous and Knowledgeable
I went in for ADD/ADHD medicine because I went off of it for a while& needed to be on it again. When I got there, I waited forever. After about two hours, I thought I was going to be seen, but instead I was taken to get a urine and blood sample. At a psychiatrists office. I waited another 30 minutes & was finally seen. He asked simple questions about my symptoms & if I had any childhood abuse (I had). He then mechanically reiterated my responses verbally into his computer to be recorded into my file. He did no real research into who diagnosed me or anything. Anyone who knows the symptoms of ADD could have easily gotten a prescription. After I got out, I looked over my file & my birthday was wrong, among other things. Overall, not a good time. I go to a different doctor now.
The doctor is professional and caring its the staff that is unprofessional and uncaring when dealing with psyc patients very rude you have to know how to be professional because people do aek questions and have concerns
I have an appointment at 345 and didn't see him until 6:20. Bu But I will say that once I got to see him I was in and out really fast. If you can get there early it might be worth it, but be wary there's a hundred and fifty dollar charge if you skipped out on an appointment that was scheduled
The date shown was my first visit at doctor Narayan's. Four months later......I have chosen to go to a new doctor after repeatedly having issues with their staff every month. I really liked the doctor (or I thought I did) But it is not worth it because not only will you wait forever in his office (my first visit took over 3 hours to be seen) the staff is very unorganized and it is even apparent as soon as you walk in to the Carrollton location. The office is very small and cramped. Patients constantly have issues (big surprise) and you can hear everything since the room is so tiny. I have to go be seen every time I run out of my medication. This is a big hassle but I have done it anyways despite the inevitable wait. After spending money (copay) and my time, I still have issues receiving my medication when I attempt to fill it at the pharmacy. The medical assistants and office never return my calls, even if it is urgent (unable to receive medication; ran out) I have sat at work and called them continuously for three weeks now. This office has taken up too much of my time and it is a pretty ridiculous feeling when you have to do someone's job for them. (but I can't because what I call for requires doctor's approval) They are very bad with Pre-Authorization with your insurance and for a doctor's office you think they would handle this issue right away after you have been seen. This is the fourth or so time Pre-Authorization from their end is nonexistent, and talking to my pharmacy has confirmed that. It is really sad because I came to him after I was dissatisfied with my last doctor, but now I am constantly running into a whole other level of problems. Please do not waste your time and money for the Carrollton location. It is a hole in the wall and very uncomfortable to begin with. I am still waiting to hear back from the medical assistants, for a prescription that is almost a month old and I have yet to receive. Please go off of friends or personal referrals when choosing a doctor. I am very dissatisfied. This is a psychiatrist's office who should take it's patients needs very seriously especially when pertaining to medication. They need to stop accepting new patients if this is the reason behind no communication. But I will never know. I am out of my medication and figure I will be until I see my new doctor in two weeks. I think I am going to ask for a refund copay wise. Too much time and energy!!!!!!
While waiting to see Dr. Narayan one of his employees was talking to the receptionist about a patient, derogatorily and that patient could HEAR her! AND, this is a combination PEDIATRICIAN and PSYCHIATRIST OFFICE!!! Uggg!
Dr & staff were very attentive and professional.
Great Dr. Bad wait time because he has so many patients. But the Dr is great. You just have to be willing to wait 2 or 3 hours to see this great Dr.
Way to many new patient's. Not enough staff to handle case load. Still confused till this day why I gave a urine sample to a pyscatrist. That was 15 min longer then I needed to be there. 1st visit the wait in room was full. People complaining about how long they been therr. Luckily I did my experience this till today. Appointment was today. I was on time and 4 new patient's in front of me. The nurse said at least 1 hr 15 min wait. Along side of me where people complaining about billing issues. The reception is new and didn't know what to do. She informed the patients someone will call them later to explain the billing. The receptionist then told me i had to pay out of pocket. I told her I have insurance and she still didn't know what to do. So along with poor appointment scheduling I don't trust them to bill the insurance properly. Nice guy but would say poorly organized practice. Lastly heard many patients say they can't ever reach anyone on the phone. On my first visit a lady brought her son in as she stated she didn't have a appointment but called 12 times in last week with no return call. PS You can only scd your first appt through zoc doc with this doctor.
He is without a doubt the best Doctor I have seen in his area of expertise and I have seen too many to count. His assistants and office staff are highly professional and compassionate. After a mix up with ZocDoc, the staff saw my need and quickly resolved a desperate situation. I feel SO much better after my first visit. I am anticipating the well rounded approach "complete wellness " Dr. Narayan discussed.
Amazing!
Dr. Narayan was wonderful. He genuinely cared about my overall well-being. Although some other commenters complained about the wait time, I understood as it was apparent that he took his time and was extremely thorough with his patients. I look forward to a great doctor/patient relationship.
Really good doctor!
Poorly ran and a greedy doc
