“I returned to Eugene, OR from Denver after a very long absence. The only thing that kept me in Denver was because I had found a very good psychiatrist who was able to help me through some difficult situations. Since I returned to Eugene, I have been unable to find an MD who will continue to prescribe the medications that have worked well for over 10 years. I had to return to Denver to have my meds refilled. On paper, it is a very odd combination of medications that have worked for me, but after having dealt with depression for 50 years, I am pleased to have a combination that works. The MD to whom I chose was easy to talk to and will continue with my current regime. After a year of seeking care, I found someone that I can work with and I’m happy with that outcome.”

Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.
