An excellent, caring, compassionate physician. I can’t say anything negative. I’m addition the treatment plan for my thyroid disease solved the problem and I only need 6 months of blood test to monitor. I’m very satisfied with his care!

Se-Min Kim, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
He graduated from the College of Medicine, Catholic Univ. of Korea in Seoul and received internal medicine training at Albert Einstein Medical Center. After residency, he participated in basic research on metabolic bone disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He then completed clinical endocrinology fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Kim sees patients with a broad range of endocrinologic disorder with special clinical and research interest in diabetes and osteoporosis. He is a member of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, Endocrine Society, and Korean American Medical Association.

Ahhh my favorite doctor out of all of my doctors! He has been the biggest help since Ive gone to him!!! He’s been with me through my thyroid cancer and he helped diagnose my rare bone disease, hypophosphatasia! He’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, and actually listens to your concerns and does his best to get results by actually figuring out whats wrong! GREATEST ENDOCRINOLOGIST EVERRRR!!!

Dr. Kim was great! It was my first time visiting an endocrinologist but it was well worth it. He was very kind and patient and answered any questions I had and eased my anxiety. The office was very clean, wait time was almost instantaneous and everyone was professional. I am grateful for Dr. Kim and will visit again if need be!

Dr. Se-Min Kim and his staff were great. The staff took the time to listen and ask questions before the doctor came in, and the doctor took his time listening to everything I had to say — my previous history, concerns, questions, etc. He not only listen but was very engaged and asked questions. Dr. Se-Min Kim was great and I would recommend him.
