Dr. Patel was very thorough, yet quick at the same time. The wait was longer than I cared for, but I was out of the office within ten minutes after being seen. She even brought her father in, who is another physician at the practice, to consult him on something she felt less comfortable about doing herself.

I really like Dr. Seema Patel however every visit I go for is at least 30min-1hr wait. It's excessive. Why make appointments if they're not honored. If this is resolved her facilities would get 100%

Dr. Patel was very personable, as well as intelligent. She answered all of my questions ranging from OB/GYN to dermatology. In addition she took her time and was very thorough. I especially appreciated her follow-up call the next day to discuss my blood work results.

Dr. Seema Patel and her sister have excellent bedside manners however I was ill for 8 weeks straight unable to walk without pain medication. Her sister wouldn't refer me to a Podiatrist. I had to return to my previous PCP in Suffolk County to get the proper care that I needed.

The first appointment I had with Dr. Patel, I waited for her to arrive at the office for an hour and 20 minutes. Another doctor tried to see me 30 minutes after I arrived, but I declined on the fact that I had booked the appointment with Dr.Patel, and not him.
Dr.Patel was seemingly nice, a bit young- like she just got out of college... slightly ditzy when it comes to health insurance and general protocol for paperwork and the like. Her phone kept going off and it seemed as if she wasn't entirely focused on me as a patient.
During the second visit I only waited about 30 minutes to see the doctor, who was apparently in a meeting with another MD. I insisted she wear gloves while taking my blood, which she said was 'more for protection of her benefit than mine'... Regardless of your benefit, you're about to poke me with a sharp object and you can easily contaminate the both of us in this process.
I will not be going back to Dr.Patel as there are issues with my health insurance and referrals from her office- She's not horrible, but lacks the attention and dedication I personally prefer from someone who is supposed to look after my health.

What I love about this Physician is that it's a family run practice. If Seems isn't available you will be seen by her sister or parents who are all MD`s.
