I have been practicing medicine for over a decade providing both acute care and preventative care. It is a privilege to be able to provide, not only acute treatment, but knowledge that can benefit my patients in their long term health.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
The role of a primary care provider is to address the needs of their patients. Those needs may be acute illnesses or management of chronic medical issues. Equally as important is preventative care. A primary care provider should also provide patients with guidance to live a healthier and happier life.

I am happily married and a father of three. I enjoy mountain biking and hiking in my free time.
