This doctor is very thorough with explaining what's going on based on what you tell him and his examination. He's very intelligent. I got an EMG done by Max and he was very cool. The wait wasn't long at all and I got some good advice. He sent me for some MRIs and I'm gonna see him again in a few weeks. Very glad I went.

The entire medical team were excellent. The secretary was nice and friendly. The medical assistant was funny, sweet, kind and very thorough he eased a lot of the tension I had about the test. Dr. David took his time and explained everything that he was doing, it was an amazing visit.

Dr. Shany David is great, but the office booking system is frustrating. It's impossible to reach the office over the phone. They refer you to their website for booking appointments, but the "book appointment" function is buried in the website, which is hard to navigate.

He is a good doctor and was very thorough. Unfortunately, I still don't know what's wrong with me, but I have been to many other good doctors who were not able to figure out what is wrong with me. He ordered tests, and I am hoping they will find something.
I was a little annoyed because the office confirmed my appointment for 8am and sent me an email insisting that I arrive 15 minutes before my appointment time. I did, and they weren't open yet. No one came to open the office until about three minutes before 8am. The girl who opened the office didn't even apologize. It's not the end of the world, but I would have gotten there at my actual appointment time if they hadn't told me to arrive early. I have worked in healthcare my entire adult career, and everywhere I have worked, the administrative staff was expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before the first patient appointment. If that's not the case, it's not a big deal, but don't tell your first patient of the day to arrive early if no one will be there.

Dr. David Shany was very impressive from the get go. I live in PA and commuted to NYC due to his credentials here on this site. He listened with attentiveness, respect, and was genuinely taking seriously my concerns. He was incredibly thorough and explained everything clearly and with ease. Although I have not gotten back my blood test or done my MRI yet, as I just had my appointment yesterday- we did multiple tests right there in his office following my appointment, as long as I had time, and I went over and did my blood work right away. He ran all the Lyme tests, unlike they do out here in PA, which is why we get so many false negatives. Regardless the outcome, I would recommend this DR in a heartbeat to anyone without hesitation.

I have had headaches more times than I would like lately. Dr. David listened carefully and wrote down all that I said. His exams were very thorough, and well as explaining what a migraine is, what causes it, and how to prevent it.
I will definitely recommend this doctor to my family and friends!

Dr. David has a good bedside manner and seemed to ask all the right questions. During my appointment I was happy with him. However, he and his office's follow-up after the appointment was very poor. I got an initial diagnosis on the spot, but never received follow-up information confirming the diagnosis and laying out treatment options. I also did not get the results of blood work he suggested I have done, and in fact the office staff sent me to the wrong address for that blood work, forcing me to go 20 minutes out of my way for the test. I expect a doctor's office to be thorough in following-up with patients and this office was not.

This was an absolutely amazing visit. I've seen many doctors in NYC, including three other neurologists, but Dr. David was the best by far. He spent almost an hour with me, educating me on what I was experiencing and what my tests showed. He developed a plan of action with me and made sure all of my questions were answered. He's young, but that actually works in his favor. He's aggressive and eager to help his patients get to the bottom of their problems and find a solution.

Dr. David was very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He listened to me and took time to understand my neurological history to provide recommendations. The office also has a 15-minute max. wait policy, which is fantastic - I've spent hours waiting in doctor's offices and Dr. David's office prides itself on seeing patients immediately. He is a fantastic doctor - I will certainly be keeping him as my neurologist and highly recommend him to anyone.

From the staff that greeted me to the doctor himself, if there were 6 stars I would put that down. This was my 1st appointment. He was knowledgable,willing to gather the important info, answered my questions without any hesitation. Wish I visited him before.
I know there's the question if I would advise others to see this doctor, and the reply is "without a small ?? in my mind."

I was really throw off at first as I was supposed to be seen by Dr. Frid but was told I will be meeting with Dr. David instead. I was worried that I would not get the same care as described by my primary. But Dr. David was a great help and seems to be an extension of Dr. Frid's practice and reputation. He really helped me out with my sciatica and seemed very able and up to date in today's treatment options. He was very thorough and ran multiple tests in the office. highly recommend him for any neuro needs.

I came across this doctor on my insurance website after seeing my primary physician. I was happy to see that I didn't have to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment compared to other doctors. When I came to the office the staff was really pleasant and the office was very close to public transport. After about a 5-19 minute wait I was seen by the doctor. Dr. David had great bedside manner although I was a bit thrown off as to how young he looked but I realized early on that he was extremely knowledgeable, proffessional, and really took my concerns seriously. He really helped with my recurring headaches and I'm greatful I was able to see him sooner then later.

Explained to me the plan for my treatment and scheduled me for an MRI. Office, staff were very helpful approving and scheduling my MRI for me. Very happy with the doctor and the office staff.
